Any Tim watching that tonight should be proud, theres no chance of us winning it all but outside of us, I hope they do. I've never respected opponents as much as Barcelona tonight, two great clubs. Can't wait until we can get a hold of them at Parkhead

Hope those arseholes in the EPL saw that. They constantly talk down our game when their game is only at the level it's at because of the obscene amount of tv money they get. Give Celtic the same sort of resources and see how far we go.

To have a team perform like that with the budget we have and the bad press the SPL gets beggars all belief. Eff them all.

Apart from their Madrid games, Barca are unlikely to get a test like that in their own stadium this season. I had tears in my eyes when that goal sneaked in but the feeling of pride quickly overcame the dissapointment

I don't post on here often but sometimes I just can't believe the pish that certain people talk on this forum. Can't please everybody I guess.

Anyway I thought it was a great performance and I am extremely proud to be a Celtic fan tonight.

 

Absolutely gutted. Very cruel.

 

Man u struggled against Braga Chelsea lost, Man City struggle in general and so do Arsenal, give Celtic their money and lets see how we do * EPL is nothing.

Neil with his mega pennies is building a side with potential Celtic has never seen before and it is threatening some of the best teams in Europe. If we can keep this team together while constantly making this side stronger we can give an even better show of ourselves.

 

I know it will never happen in the next game but I really want to see McGeouch, Forrest, Watt, Twardzik, Fraser, Matthews, Ibrahim play against Barca.

We are a decent passing side in the SPL when we get going, but tonight Barca drained all the confidence out of our players and they totally forgot the very basics of how to pass and control the ball.

The young bhoys we have in the academy though have been taught the right way and in a few years time we will be able to really go at teams like Barca and not just hope for a draw.

I thought Forrest was brilliant when he came on, only had a few chances but took the * out the Barca defence every time and won us a good few dangerous free kicks. His skill and pace is very promising.

And vice versa, generally, and especially in the last few years. Barça plays the football we and Croatians like to boats about wanting and trying to play.
