I've never been as crushed in all my life. Absolutely devastating.

    yes it will.....or very close.
If they played someone else and got the 9 or 10 points before coming to glasgow then it might be different but they will still be all out for a win as will we but.....well they are barca what can we do but pray.

Thing is though, that performance has made me less confident about Parkhead. They have a point to prove now.

Absolutely...We may never see another defender get the ball from Leo from behind, again

I think that is cutting it too fine. I think we need a win and two draws. Ideally we need a draw at home to Barcelona.

    tongue-in-cheek mate :50:

EDIT: Apparently it wasn't, so I don't know.
I agree, very harsh to say.

It's a weird feeling it really is.

You keep telling yourself you shouldn't feel like this but is hard not to.

Then the feelings of immense pride decide to join the party and really mess you up :smiley-laughing002:

I'll keep on drinking and hopefully clarity comes soon... although waking up with keyboard face and wet troosers might come first :56:

Just back from the pub and although extremely disappointed with the end result, the performance tonight is what makes one proud to be a Celtic supporter.

The Bhoys gave their all, didn't lie down and did their best. No shame in tonight's performance and a lot of positives can be taken from the game.

    I'm not picky.
I think these two (apart from tonight) are two of the biggest gutting defeats for me. Juventus especially as it was such a ridiculous decision to give a penalty that night from such a blatant dive. Lyon was so depressing as well because the way we fought that night (just like tonight) we deserved to get something from the game.

Even though I'm still pretty dejected about the result I'm trying to see it more positive because of the performance. I know the performance alone doesn't win matches BUT to play the way we did against the best team in the world the Bhoys should hold their heads high.

Cant put all the blame on Jamesy, these things happen in football, I'm sure Spartak felt similar when we beat them. Its going to happen to us again aswell. It will make us enjoy the big wins even more.

I completely agree, this goes beside Juventus as worst ever (but Anderlecht was our own weakest performance imo, they had 10 men for so much of the game. And I don't think they got a late winner, but it was still a real sickener of a game).

I feel proud deep down, and I know I'll feel more proud in the coming days, but for now I'm just devastated at how that happened.
