You DID see how Sammy landed on his left ankle didn't you? I'd like to see you come back up from landing straight over on your ankle that way.

PS - apologies if this is a *-take :smiley-laughing002:

I've watched many celtic teams play in europe over the last fourty years and this includes MON's team and seen them panic and fall apart big time and concede goals.Tonight we played probably the best team there has ever been with possibly the best player there's ever been and we looked organised, composed for a lot of the game.David Marshall had to play better than Foster had to play to help us get a result.

I cared not about the money I had on my coupons.

I cared at the fact we deserved more. Last second? Bullshit. 4 Minutes of injury time? My hole.

Fraser "Frazzle" Forster was * amaizng. England No.1
    Wanyama, Ambrose........Outstanding.

    Whole TEAM!!!!!!!! Played like LIONS!!!!!!!!

Devasted but extremely proud, and im probably more confidant about getting 2nd now than i was before the game. Forster was unreal.

I think it was hard for Hooper to get involved in the game with Barcelona dominating so much.

Gutted with the way they got the result, but very proud of our effort.

I take it you are aged under 10! Hooper the worst player? You need to get off your computer games and stop drinking those crazy energy drinks!!! Sounds to me that you do not understand what is must be like to be the lone player against BARCELONA (excuse the caps but I felt that it was necessary considering such a ridiculous statement!!!:31:)

PS What a great, courageous performance from such a young and inexperienced Celtic side. Very proud Celtic fan!:bbpd:

I was fully expecting a cricket score. I felt that our players weren't mentally up for this level of intensity. I felt that we would be embarrassed and would suddenly realise how average a team we really were. I felt this because our performances in the SPL this season have been average alot of the time.

Tonight, I only feel pride in every one of those players and the manager. Far, far better teams than us have deployed the same tactics - so no shame in the "anti-football"; if we had opened up we would be destroyed.

Last ditch tackles, great shape in the midfield, heroic saves, Messi silenced - yes, MESSI silenced!, a goal at the Camp Nou and it took them a wonder Barca goal at the end of the 1st half and a goal 15 seconds till the death to take away a point that would have been the talk of the footballing tavern everywhere.

I'm sorry for the negativity Celtic. I'm sorry for not believing. Every player on that park tonight needs to know: You Will Never Walk Alone! Hail Hail!

Agree with all of that. * unlucky to lose like that. We played a good passing game when we could at times too. And Hooper did all right considering he could never hope to have much support. Team effort was mammoth.

Gutted and will be for days no doubt but have to look at it from the bigger picture and notice how proud we should be. Celtic are back.

Anyone who watches Barcelona even a little bit knows most things go through Messi and even when he doesn't have it, he's waiting for the return pass for a shot on goal...and he rarely saw much daylight towards goal

I thought Celtic defenders did a great job nicking the ball whenever Barça tried to hesitate and execute their tiki taka passing in tight spaces - which they look to do in order to unlock defenses like that...Messi moved around a lot in that 2nd half, sometimes dropping deeper and then drifting wide left or right...Just too much congestion and Celtic did a great job of showing patience and choosing the right time to get stuck in...At one point just narrowly avoiding a pk on Leo even...Thought it was outstanding work and probably the most frustrated I've seen Leo in some time

Of course, he didn't look too sharp at times, for me, as well...Too lax and gave away passes without much pressure but that happens when the offense is that stagnant...Very little flow and neither Alexis nor Pedro being able to stretch things early just contributed more to the frustrations...Big reason I thought Tello came on far too late, for me

I think they tried to beat that high line once in the first half when Xavi very nearly connected with Alexis but otherwise they were not very direct...Big reason I was certain Cesc would be in the starting XI...But the lack of width from the edges was the biggest culprit, IMO

BTW, Jordi Alba covered the most ground in the match, 14.5 km
