Gutted about the loss obviously but amazing performance. Tbh I'd rather conceding that goal than getting hammered as at least we've shown that we can compete with Barcelona and are of Champions League Quality.

We're back where we belong and the players have shown it today. I now think we could get a draw at home.

I've never seen anyone keep messi as quiet as we did tonight aswell. Iniesta was majestic though

Barca outplay everyone. We did better tonight than some sides who have spent a lot more than us.

We've not been at this level for four years we have a lot of catching up to do! 2 weeks and Barca will be * themselves!

 

Feels all the worse since it was in the last minute but if we can do that away then it doesn't seem to unreasonable that we can at least get a draw at home from them. And the last few away games have certainly showed we don't really have too much to fear at Benfica away.

its nothing to do with negativity, you might take something out the game, but not me we where not in it, why barca never got more goals was they over played there game, they where not one bit scared in about our box. as it was seen we where like boys out there not able to beat not one player. we where just lucky to get a bit of experience that about all

heroic display tonight, should give our defense a world of confidence. it's good to see we still have the same fight i'm used to seeing even after playing in a league where we rarely have to play that sort of last ditch defending. great character.
