Cant wait for this, what an experience for the Bhoys, regardless of the result this is going to have positives for our young team. As long as they give a good account of themselves i will be happy.

Really can't wait for it. Potentially could be a drubbing but we've seen from Barca's recent form that they can score goals, but they also concede a lot too. They always seem to concede shortly after they have scored which may be worth remembering!

The score last night with them was 5-4, it just shows you. We can definitely score into them.

Can't wait for Tuesday, have absolutely no thoughts of picking something up but every Celtic fan should be proud to see this side play against the best ever.

If Deportivo can score into four into them, then we can score at least one, maybe even two, into them. I think we would beat Deportivo over two legs if we ever played them. They are nowhere near as good as they were ten years ago.

Whatever happens in this game will happen; the more important game on Tuesday for me is Benfica and Spartak. Where I will be praying for a draw between the two.

Heard so many people say they want a draw between Spartak and Benfica. Personally I'd rather see Spartak pick up 4 points over their double header.

We would hammer Deportivo. Absolutley hammer them. They are rotten.

The goals against Barcelona last night needs to be remembered as a penalty that was arguably outside the box, an incredible mistake from Valdes, an amazing free kick and a freaky own goal.

3 out 4 of them aren't trypical goals to lose; however there defence can get got at; especially if it's Mascherano and Song in there and they don't have a defensive midfielder.

    Why? I'd rather 2 draws.

Worst case scenario and we lose the next two games then everything is in our hands.

Which would be all right as well but two draws would leave us a point ahead of Benfica and 2 points ahead of Spartak. Which would be better!

Assuming Barca hump us over the next two games. I think we may get a draw at Celtic Park though so I would much rather that!

Id rather Spartak beat Benfica on Tuesday too, as it then puts pressure on Benfica in their home game and if Spartak can get a draw, then all we really need to do is beat Spartak and we should be through unless one of them can beat Barca.

As if Benfica only get one point with Barca away and us at home to go, they lose to Barca and beat us and end up with 5 points. Spartak will be on 4 points with 2 games to go, 1 against Barca and then us at Celtic Park.

It would mean if they got beat off/drew with Barca we only need to beat Spartak.

What I said was wrong anyway, Spartak would be on 6. :smiley-laughing002:
But aye, I suppose yours makes sense. It's just that I feel Benfica may beat us, my scenario allows for that to happen.

If Benfica get a draw away to Spartak though, then they will most likely get them at home and beat them. As Spartak will be demoralised with only 1 point out of 9 and 2 away games to go.

If Spartak beat them on Tuesday then, it wont matter that much if Benfica beat them. But if Benfica take 4 points they will be above us with us at home as their next game = win and go through.

I suppose so but I think we'll beat Spartak at home and I believe we can get a win or a draw against Benfica. They haven't impressed me at all, they are dangerous in the attack but with Witsel and Garcia left without any replacements I think we can get a grip on there midfield.

Especially with Kayal, Ledley and Samaras back; who were sorely missed in the Celtic Park game. They are there for the taking.

The Barca games we just need to get through with confidence intact in my opinion.

Infact if Benfica beat Spartak in either of the games, it means they'll only have to beat us to go through.

It wouldnt be a bad thing if Spartak actually won both games.

All we want is Benfica not to win any of the games against Spartak, doesnt matter if Spartak win the two games as we have them at home to come and if we beat them we'll be through as long as Benfica dont get more than 7 points, which they wont unless they take 3 off of Spartak.

I have no idea why and certainly have no right to feel this way,but why do i feel so optimistic about us going to the nou camp,we have nothing to loose maybe and only a fools chance of getting any sort of result, but none the less

I AM CONFIDENT WE WILL DO THEM:celt_2:
