    For me, The Sopranos was just perfection. Gandolfini played Tony brilliantly. I've watched it right through a number of times. Big fan of Paulie too.

    Love/Hate was a superb series, I really got into that.

    Friday Night Lights, Wentworth Prison, Hawaii 50 (new one) all quality too.

    Yeah I'm going with The Sopranos too, top tv.

    The one I thought may eclipse it was Deadwood, absolute top drawer stuff, only lasted the 3 seasons and was criminally axed in the end, Al Swearengen is the single best character ever in a TV show.

    So because The Sopranos lasted it's course, that's number 1 for me.

    I've got the Deadwood box set haven't watched it yet but pretty sure it's 3 seasons on it.

    The Sopranos was my fav.

    Superb acting mixed with great music and dark comedy.

    I liked Breakin Bad but it got a bit far-fetched.

    I mean a school teacher and his student making meth together? oh and his brother-in-law just happened to be in the FBI? I don't think The Sopranos went OTT.

    I don't know what you mean by "got far fetched", that's the premise of the show from the start. You either sign up for it or you don't.
