Gonna give this Bad Teacher a watch when it starts in the UK next week. Keep seeing adverts on Comedy Central with some tidy milf as the main cast.

Cheers is a great show, as is Frasier.

Frasier might just be the best of two for me.

On season 5 of Dexter now. First 4 seasons are class, it's slowed down a bit now but still good.

Think my favourite so far was season 3 with Miguel Prado but its tight between that and Season 4. Was shocked at the ending of season 4.

Just finished Breaking Bad. Definitely between that and Game of Thrones as the best shows I've seen. I have heard Firefly is class though.

If you haven't seen Black Mirror, watch it. 2 seasons of 3 episodes and a Christmas Special. Each episode has a different cast and story so it's just like 6 one offs.

    It's incredible.

Firefly is brilliant mate. Criminal that it was cancelled.

I know they made a film from it which was meant to have been decent. Think I will give it a watch tonight.

Aye, Serenity is the name. It's a follow up to the show but it's nowhere near as good.

The shows class, the film is excellent. It's mostly about the last 40 minutes of the film that's really really good.

It's definitely a good film but don't think it matches the quality of the show.

The problem with Serenity is it shoehorns what would have been spread out over probably the entire second season into 2 hours.

Still though, that tracking shot of the ship at the start is perfect, one of my favourite scenes in any film. Puts you right in there with them, introduces the cast for anyone who didn't watch the show and has several classic Mal zingers.

Talking about Firefly has got me thinking, are there any other great Sci Fi tv shows out there set in space? Nobody say Star Trek that's not for me.

Anyone seen Battlestar Galatica, Farscape or Babylon 5?

Battlestar Galactica is apparently excellent. There was like a two part special before the show started to set the tone for it, watched the first part and it was good. Yet to get round to watching the second part.

    Red Dwarf. :smiley-laughing002:

I think Firefly was unique because of it's crossover of SF and western. :50:
