I started The Wire and seriously could not deal with the accents. Chucked it after 6 or 7 episodes. Something to ponder!

I'm actually struggling with SOA now, it's a bit repetitive. Doesn't help I raced through 5 (amazing) series in about 3 weeks mind you, but I've been stuck on season six for about 3 or 4 months now.

Just started watching the Sopranos the other day, as its on sky atlantic from the beginning again, been good so far.

Loved Burn Notice, Michael Westen is a class character and Bruce Campbell is good in it aswell.

Aye they were going nowhere. Spoilers for season 7 of SOA!

Never really liked Jax and him just going about killing people for no reason in season 7 was * me off.

But aye, I'll finish it at some point. Although I know two big spoilers.:54::smiley-laughing002:

Get it finished mate. Quality programme.

Funnily enough I thought the most disappointing episode of the final season was the very last one. I thought it was poorly made, but other than that I thought the entire show was brilliant.

Anyone ever watched Deadwood btw? Another one I've been thinking of watching.

I just said the same thing, except it's season 6 I'm stuck on. Not that I'm not enjoying it, I think I'm just not as invested in the characters as I was before.

They should never have got rid of Stahl either, that * was crazy. :smiley-laughing002:

Watched first season of Deadwood months ago and enjoyed it. Got the second season on DVD but yet to watch it.

It's really good, definitely worth a go. Not loads of action but interesting characters and a good plot. Ian McShane is fantastic in it.

Aye, throughout the show I've never liked half the Sons. Said it in the spoiler above but it isn't a spoiler, I've never taken to Jax. Which isn't great when he's the main guy.:smiley-laughing002:

    Stahl was really good!

One of my workmates raves about it, but he's 60 and a hun so I don't really take him seriously.

Really enjoying Engrenages (Spiral) at the moment. I think it might be on iPlayer.

Edit: ...probably not from Series 1, mind.

Opie was my favourite character, the stuff with his wife and mistaking him for a rat and all that happened is still my favourite storyline from the whole show. I was really moved at the end of that series, quality TV.

Probably my favourite as well. Yeah that storyline was up there with the best definitely, concluded perfectly as well.

Chibs has been my favourite character since but he just isn't written as well as he could be. They've went into his back story a bit but not enough for my liking.

Stahl was a great character, sexy as well! Season 3 spoiler ...

Her final episode was probably my favourite episode of the whole show. The lead up to it was great and it had an excellent twist where Jax signed a confession form and we thought the Sons were going to jail. This was all a set up and then Opie got revenge on Stahl and Chibs took care of Jimmy. Loved it.

You are right, that was a fantastic episode. I didn't see it coming at all, brilliantly done.

If anyone likes horror type show with a bit of comedy. Id highly recommend American horror story season 2.
Its an anthology so skipping season 1 wont affect your viewing.
Great acting in it. The storylines and sub plots are great and the cast is very good.

4 episodes into The Shield, and so far so good.

I think Deadwood will be next on the list of shows to watch.

Deadwood is fantastic shame there were only 2 seasons.

Cheers, some of the humor doesn't hold up but its the characters that make it what it is.

A have both these shows on box set but not watched either yet. Seen a few random episodes of Cheers though which a thought were great.

    Evilbunny Deadwood has 3 seasons.
