    Never been able to get into boardwalk, I've watched the first two or three eps a couple of times and just doesn't hold my attention.

    As far as the thread goes, anything that doesn't start with '1. The Wire' is wrong, plain and simple.

    When did everyone start getting into the wire? I watched the first episode and about 10 mins of the second but it hasn't got my attention. I know I will get into though.

    Will it take me the first few episodes to get into it?

    Can't speak from experience as I've never seen it but give it a few episodes. Gave up on Breaking Bad after 6 episodes because it was boring. Gave it another go a few months later and loved it. Game of Thrones also took 3 or 4 episodes for me to get into and it's probably my favourite show.

    Yeah, will give it a few more and im sure i will be into it.

    Think Prison Break is definitely the best for getting you glued after the very first episode.

    Has anybody watch Lilyhammer? A think they've been to seasons of it so far. Silvio from the Sopranos is the main character. He plays a mobster who goes into hiding.

    I've no seen it mate, just noticed it earlier on Netflix. Sounds great, has some great reviews and the trailer looks class

    I remember watching the first two episodes in about 2011 and didn't get into it

    Then my brother bought me the box-set for Christmas last year and after 3/4 episodes I was hooked

    1 - Breaking Bad
    2 - Boardwalk Empire
    3 - The Wire
    4 - Spartacus
    5 - The Sorpranos
    6 - A Game of Thrones
    7 - American Horror Story
    8 - The Following

    That would be my favourite drama series in order

    Watched breaking bad and lost, really enjoyed both, lost got pretty * near the end. Currently watching prison break, homeland and revenge. Anyone any reccomedations? Tried sons of anarchy didnt really enjoy first episode.

    If you haven't seen it, watch True Detective! New seven part series on HBO, with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Only one episode has aired so far but it was fantastic.
