This time last year, i was one of those on the verge of calling for his head!!!!Eventually i did.

Honestly think we'll get to the last 16 and that's not just coming off the back of tonight, would prefer us to come 3rd in the group though as I think we could make the Europa final.

Hi, everyone. I've been lurking for a while, this is my first post.

This team is so different in style from MON's and WGS's. I have so much less fear when we play away in Europe; on the other hand I have a bit less confidence at home. Make no mistake, that is an excellent Spartak side who are absolutely capable of beating us in Glasgow if we're not careful. I do think this team is good enough to have a chance of winning the Europa if we finish third, but I'd much rather reach the last 16 of the CL! Anyway, even if we finish bottom, I really like the way Lennon has us playing and think we really got lucky with him.

And for the long term, while it's true we proved tonight that we don't need a strong Sevco; we DO need a stronger Hearts/Hibs/Aberdeen/Dundee Utd if we're ever to win the European Cup again.

This result should keep me going for a few weeks.

so proud of the team tonight, bought the new top, changed into it in the pub, girlfriend gave me a silver celtic cross with chain for our one year together and watched our young talented team take on multi million pound team in the biggest competition in the world and guess what?........??? WE WON!!!! maybe this should be in the im drunk celtic pub chat but who cares!!!! i love my team and i am so proud!!! good on you guys! you will all remember this night for the rest of your days and you can always hold your heads high, * sevco and * bigotry, you guys tonight showed what it means to play........the celtic way

My last post on here was extremely scathing of Kelvin Wilson. I'm glad Neil Lennon is the manager of Celtic and not me. That is all.

 

Wilsonbauer was written off by most, so your not alone. Since he had that great game against Real Madrid in the friendly hes not looked back, hes been assured in each game since.

 

Same for the first goal.

 

Their first goal was undefendable imo, it was a world class pass and lay off. 9 times out of 10, the person making that pass under or over hits it or even if it is perfect the guy making the lay off would attempt to shoot and slice it or over hit the lay off etc but they both got it perfect. From the guy who made the pass until the ball being in the net there was probably only 4 seconds between it.

Second goal Forster should just have let it go out, he tried to save them getting a corner and they ended up getting a goal.

Amazing to think he was playing for Notts * Forrest just a few months ago really, now he's just won against Spartak Moscow in the Champions League!!!

 

Was it just me but did`nt that woman announcer have a most * voice.
