Leaving aside the frankly ridiculous fact that the ref missed the foul on Hooper which lead to the sending off, why the * did it take so long for the correct decision to be made? I understand the fifth official made the decision, why did it take a good couple of minutes for it to be made?

I think he was going to book Hooper at first? Maybe he got a word in his ear & changed his mind, thats what I think anyway. Made the right decision in the end though:50:

Could slate a lot of the players tonight , Some of them never turned up at all and was very poor. Tonight is not a night for that lets just never mind that and enjoy the win.

Like who? Mulgrew had a poor first half, was good second half though. Commons was quiet by his standards, but he wasn't "very poor". No one was. Forster, had a poor mistake, but had very little to do apart from that

to be fair that wasnt a red card faul though, as our keeper was going to be first on the ball even if your chap didnt get pulled. saying that, there was no faul from samaras when we scored our first. so were even here :)

He wouldn't have got there first mate, it was ending one of two ways, Hooper rounding the keeper or the keeper taking Hooper out.

    Hi

I'm not a Celtic fan but I do live and work in Moscow most of the year and went to the game tonight. Proper sitting on my hands in the middle of Spartak nutters. Suppressed a tiny scrream when Samaras scored. Excellent game and really impressed with Celtic's fight.

    Cheers!
