I think it holds 86,000 or something. It always looks empty even though theres always 40-60,000 there. Theres 6 Russian Premier teams from Moscow so fans are well split up.

Anyone have a link to Souness's comments or any post match interviews? Gonna be buzzing all week now, the beer has to be hit tonight.

Russia is like a second home to us, we always seem to get decent results over there.

Can't really use that as an excuse, though, as London has far more teams and a few million less people.

None of the London teams have 86,000 seat stadiums...

there are building a smaller stadium.....

So proud of the team, fantastic result. Could be critical of a few mistakes but why should we on a night like this....lets enjoy it, enjoy it some more and then enjoy it even more....'mon the Bhoys...

would have been a travesty even if we had drawn that tonight. scoring 3 goals in Moscow and they only had 2 shots which we GIFTED them...shows you how far weve come in europe....what a great night for the timalloys. :celt_2:

It's a national stadium, not the point. Wembley is bigger.

There were only 31k in there tonight.

Actually the stadium holds a little bit over 78,000. So still a big stadium to fill but not as big as you were thinking.
