Hopefully we can avoid conceding an early goal.

Well Lustig can slot right in. Unless he's injured?

Nope, he's fit, it'll be Lustig at RB.

Without reading everyone else's team line ups, in my own head this is how I'd like us to line up tonight:

    Forster

    Lustig K Wilson Mulgrew Izzy

    Wanyama

    Brown Kayal

    Commons Sammy

    Hooper

Off the ball Commons and Sammy drop back in to make a 4-5-1, on the ball they bomb forward to create a 4-3-3.

I`m not too sure about Lustig at full back. He`s very good when we are on the front foot but I`m still not too sure about his defensive abilities

Unfortunately, with Mathews out and no Cha or M.Wilson waiting in the wings, he is the only player who can go there. I suppose we could play Ambrose there if truth be told.

On another front I am now at the dreaded number. I'll be making another post instantly.

Deary me, has anyone seen the stat that Spartak have only won 1 of their last 14 CL home games? Maybe not as much of a foregone conclusion as many might think...

I would be quite tempted to go along with that team too. Very harsh on Hooper but I really do think Sammy could run riot if given a free role against this team. There will be quite a bit of space to be found tonight. Hopefully the big man can exploit it

Don't think we can risk Hooper and Samaras upfront together - that would mean losing Ledley, Kayal or Wanyama in midfield and we need all three of them.

He can play Samaras on the left, that's Samaras' best position anyway. I think Ambrose will play as well.

I absolutely love the depth of our squad now, we have a team so strong in my opinion that players like Kayal and Forrest can't even get into the team!

I think it would be madness to leave out any of Commons, Hooper or Sammy, seeing as those three have been the European standouts in terms of going forward. Kayal hasn't proven that he's fully back and on form yet, and though Joe hasn't either, I would still trust him that bit more coming back into the side.

My team if Mathews and Ledley are fit. Bit early to throw Ambrose into Central defence in a game like this and Mulgrew has been an important player for us so I dont want to drop him. I also think we need Ledley, Brown and Wanyama in central midfield. No room for Forrest because Commons and Samaras can do more. Forrest is a good player to take off the bench later in the match because of his speed.
