He probably has Celtic TV, I dont think players go out often in Moscow, mind him saying in one of his interviews. He's probably seen most if not all our games since he left.

He's said in several interviews he's still a fan and follows us whenever he can. I'm sure even if it's not on Russian tele, if he can catch he a stream he probably would. He's been over to quite a lot of games as well, parts of the Russian season and the SPL season don't overlap.

It's just small things like Izaguirre's habit of trying to turn a player in the corner or Matthews leaving a yard of space so that he can use his pace to nick infront of the player and the ball when they try and get by him.

If you know they are going to do it when you are playing, when you recognise it, it can be easily punished. Especially at this level.

I've heard this before. Did McGeady say why?

1-1 or 1-2 would be awesome but in reality this game is fraught with danger.
Spartak with home advantage are favourites and will be expected to win.
I imagine that they'll be bolstered by their efforts in Barca having pushed them so close but the fact that they have no points could have an unnerving effect on them if we start well.
This is a hard one to call so i'm gonna let my heart rule ma heid and go for a Hoops win by the odd goal :celt_2:

I dont think so, but I imagie its because all the different teams, is there not about 6 teams in Moscow and most are big derby games. So as a player if you go out then theres a good chance of meeting allsorts of rival fans, unlike maybe here where youd get half and half goodguys and huns, over there you could be among 20 guys who all support rival teams.

McGeady is probably one of the most disliked players too, as I think as hes had a few red cards over there especially in bigger games he's seen as one of those players who are aggressive plus hes obviously a skillful player.

Scottish clubs always perform better when they are touted as the underdogs. Its a fact of life. Nobody ever expected us to beat Liverpool at Anfield, Blackburn at Ewood etc, so Spartak being the favourites suits me down to the ground :50:

Unfortunately Dikan is out for at least a month ((( K.Kombarov will be probably playing.
Welliton will be able to play but he is not in form after injury, so I am not sure in his appearance even as a sub.

As for McGeady he said that he is watching games everytime he has opportunity more over he visited a few games during breaks.

4-1 to Celtic. Bring them on!!!! Canny hit a baw mcgeadys no chance against Izzy. There dolf lungren Russian ain't got a patch on Kevin "the rock" wilson. Return of the "canny find a razor" samaras for all 4! No kneck mcshooders will actually get fouled n earn us a penalty to finish them off, 93rd. This aint optimism, just pure fact. Get stuck into them!!! Canny wait for this win!

Think they have a few injury doubts. Heard that Romulo and Welliton are out as well, which would be excellent news if true.

Hopefully we can spring a surprise here. The pace of Ambrose and Wilson could be vital against their front line.
