Do not think we played well at all very poor and never made any where near enough chances at home . Brown motm for me not his biggest fan but he was * outstanding tonight .

Aye. Was a vital must win game if we want to qualify in my opinion.

I know we weren't at full strength but am still a bit disappointed,we really need an attack minded coach at celtic..did we have a shot on goal tonight?..still its a pnt on the board though.

Aye, he did, but during key moments, he lacked the kind of incisive passing we really needed. I still would start Tony Watt ahead of him.

As for the game itself, yes, it seems a bit of a missed opportunity to pick up valuable points. However, I have confidence we can still finish 2nd, or at least 3rd.

Benfica are supposedly bad on the road, were missing players as well, etc. So hard to gauge their true strength. They didn't really seem set out to win this game tonight, so may have simply conserving their energy.

We'll see how they play in their next games. Probably with the brake off.

Not a complete disaster all things considered.

I thought Broony was quiet first half but he was colossal second half, Miku showed a lot more promise once he had a partner up front and Hooper was very hungry when he came on, hopefully he can shrug off his niggling injury and get back to what he does best.

Not surprised Izzy went off, it's starting to become a worry now with his form.

Wilson was immense, my MOTM and if he an keep up this level of performance then he is going to be hard to shift.

Not ideal but a decent result against a very good team.

A draw in Moscow and it will set us up nicely for at least 3rd place.

my main gripe is that lenny left watt on the bench when he is our leading scorer this year, and hooper was injured, didnt look fit at all when he was on, forrest also never should have finished the game

Been saying it for weeks we lack a midfield that can attack there is nothing there no final ball no creativity. The Brown/Wanyama combo does not work two very similar players, you need a enforcer/ball winning type and a playmaker/attacking type. Forrest playing Mr Invisible for the second week running i dont see where the hype about this kid is coming from you get about 1 good game out of 8 from him.

Plus points was at least we gained a point every point counts in CL football! Wilson had a great game but Scott 'everyfuckingwhere' Brown was MOTM by a country mile! this is how you play in the Green and White! Forrest and Izaguirre take note or get the * out!

I think we lack the quality in the final third that other teams in the competition have. This is another reason why I was so disappointed with Commons delivery from set pieces; I feel that set pieces will be key for us scoring goals.

Not a bad result, glad to get points on the board. Brown was excellent. Cant believe the negativity from some people, believe we will get points away from home. CL group stage has only just begun. Cant wait for the next game. Mon the Hoops.

Not to mention, Rogne and Ambrose on the bench, Izaguirre and Forrest off the boil, Hooper not 100%, and Stokes unavailable.

I can't wait for the next game versus Benfica! * 'em, we'll win.

Thing is we more than held our own at the top level against a classy side with a few key players out, who knows what could happen when they are fit again.
