Was surprised with his honesty, right next to Tierney. Basically said he's not good enough oust the wee man and has to go..... He's right..

He needs to play and Tierney is going nowhere anytime soon.

A fantastic player for the club over a 6 year period, what a contribution he made to the club.

    Good luck, Emilio :shamrock:

Sad however it's time he goes.

Tierney has made the position his own and a guy like Izaguirre will not be contempt with sitting out the rest of his career.

Will always be remembered here, one of those players that fell in love with the club.

I said long ago that he wouldn't be happy sitting behind Kieran Tierney in the pecking order. Nor should he be. He's 30 years old and has his place in the Honduran national team to think about. He needs to be playing first team football.

All the best, Emilio. I will always remember your first season at Celtic, you were outstanding.

Que Tierney breaking his leg in the first game of next season..

Izaguirre is one of the only players in this team I genuinely have love for. Came in at a time where we were useless in that position and was phenomenal. The injury * him up a bit but he was still consistently decent after that imo. He got way too much stick at times here.. In Europe especially he was a great outlet, always looking to attack and create.

He loved it here and I will miss the guy Good luck to you wherever you go Emilio

Love the guy but find it strange he wouldn't want to stay an force his way in to the team under a new manager.

Very emotional today with him and Ronny going, but as many have said, it's the right thing for him- few could take KT out the team atm. He gave us so many memories (particularly Hooper game v Huns), and he's one of us now, always will be.
