Outrage over Mohammed movie

Yesterday the U.S. embassy in Egypt was overrun, today a U.S. ambassador in Libya was killed. All because of a ridiculously stupid movie made by an Israeli living in America.

I might be pessimistic, but I also think I'm a realist...the tension between Israel and Iran, as well as other Arab nations, is about one or two more incidences away from an all out war. Which of course would drag the U.S. into it because our government treats Israel like a spoiled step-son.

Or am I just a paranoid American?

 

It has been like this for some time. Just look at what is going in in Syria just now and how it is dividing opinions across the world. The US have threatened to take action if chemical weapons are used but the Russians and Chinese are against military intervention.

A couple of days ago more bombings occurred in Iraq and Libya is an unstable country just now. Unfortunately a lot of the people in these countries will continue to live in fear.

 

R.I.P. To the 4 people murdered in libya, this is like a reapt of the muhammed cartoons protest, people are losing their lives because the ingorant masses cant understand freedom of speech, while I think the film is despicable there is no excuse for the rioting and killing that has been carried out in response

When you say ridiculously stupid, I would imagine that's actually how to describe the animals who feel they have to murder because of a film.

If we ever, for one moment, try to justify these acts we start down a very dangerous road.

Why should art, in whatever form or however distasteful, have to have approval of Muslims before it can see the light of day? After all, everyone has the option to simply not watch the film.

 

Why do people go out of their way to insult someones beliefs.

The * who made this film was inciting hatred.

It's the animals who use this an excuse for violence that are the dickheads.

Otherwise, who's to decide which beliefs should be protected from interpretation?

Because you do not have a religion and go out of your way to let everyone know.

 

It's scary the way people react to this. How is killing people that had nothing to do with it going to change anything?

Why can't people just not watch it or shrug it off?
It's not damaging their personal faith in whatever they believe in.

I did have one though.I forced into it as a child, remember?I find it equally insulting that i and every child in the country is FORCED into religion...but i dont go killing people because of it

Look mate, if someone insults someones religion just for the * of it, then they are insensitive at best......but noone deserves to die over an insult, far less an insult by a compatriot.

 

these same people kill other muslims in the name of mohammad,they really just use it as an excuse to kill because theres no justification in their actions.what a sad sorry world we live in

 

What i really dont understand about those that kill or maim in the name of a religion is, why they take it upon themselves to carry out these punishments?I mean, can their * not do all that stuff himself.Surely allah could strike the guy down that carried out the insult?I feel sometimes that im living in a mad world.
I am so grateful this country has left the middle ages, and i think it is incredibly important we dont allow ourselves to be taken back.
Where does it ever say in the Bible or Koran that someone must be killed by another human if such and such happens?

Feel sorry for the ordinary punters who live in these countries who probably just want to get on with their lives, but these idiots that burn flags and effigies every time they get upset or in this case resort to violence to protest a * fictional film, ive no time for them at all. I personally wouldnt make a film like this, not because im worried id offend any of them, just because common sense tells you it can cause more trouble than its worth. Anyway, the guy who made it's gone into hiding apparently, but im sure he's got the publicity he wanted.

To me it looks very much like a deliberate attempt to stir things up, from an Israeli living thousands of miles away from the conflict zone.

I mean if some Islamic nutcase did go out and assassinate the guy, it would hardly be a jawdropping surprise...
