Most Hated English Team (out of these 4)

Well quite obviously there are Manchester folk who would have LOVED it had there been some evidence that scousers had pickpocketed or pished on the dead.

 

I'm sure there would have been a few but I've been looking at United forums today to see the reaction and apart from 1 or 2 people everyone is supportive of the JFT96 campaign and is happy with the news today

Turn it the other way around and I'm sure there would have been a lot of scousers happy if their chairman's claims after Heysel that it was Chelsea fans and not Liverpool fans that killed the 39 people were found to be true

Some Mancs don't let the scousers forget that they chanted Munich on a regular basis before 1989 but it stopped after that

 

I'm sure it will be considerably more than a few - but I agree with you.

 

As has been mentioned, if you had included Chelsea in the poll you'd probably have got yourself a runaway winner.

The Newcastle thing is due to several factors. That * Alan Shearer booting Neil Lennon in the head for one. Also the fact we've played several friendlies down there, cos the club (Newcastle) realises we always take a massive support and pretty much fill SJP - but their fans have not always been as welcoming as the club. Also the usual thing that English fans complain of - the Mags' ability to live in a total dreamworld of entitlement, when their club has actually achieved next to * all in their history. And that includes the rather odd ability to look down on other clubs whose achievements considerably surpass their own.

Celtic fans also have a fair contingent of Man U fans in the ranks (hence most of the anti-Liverpool sentiment) and a fair contingent of Liverpool fans (hence the anti-Man U and a smaller amount of anti-Everton sentiment).

Personally I dislike Chelsea most by a clear margin...
* Significant number of racists / right-wing * in support
* Owned by a gangster
* Bought their success
* Very high *-quotient among players - Terry, Cole, Drogba, Robben, Anelka etc

Out of the four you mention I'd probably say Newcastle - reasons above, and also because of that fat * Ashley. Man U I don't really dislike, but the gloryhunter aspect puts me off them a bit, and Ferguson can be somewhat annoying too.

Like to see both Liverpool and Everton doing well.

 

Am going for Preston north end now, cause if pne is anything like there supporters they should all goto *. Fecking bell-end !

 

Chelsea for me. I don't have an English team to support as I hope they all lose but if I had to chose who to win the League it would be Arsenal because they've been good to watch under Wenger.

 

Most people only hate man utd because of how successful they've been for the past 20 odd years.

 

I dont really mind Everton and Man utd, quite like liverpool and say * to newcastle

 

By spending over 500 million and breaking the British transfer record multiple times, all while accusing others of buying the league.

I think I read they had a wealthy backer in the late 80s at a time they didn't make much profit who funded the likes of Hughes, Ince, Pallister, Irwin, Paul Parker, Dublin, Cantona etc, then started to break records after signing Keane and Andy Cole (while Ferguson was accusing Blackburn of reckless spending)

Then the 100s of millions on the likes of Yorke, Stam, Barthez, Veron, Van Nistelrooy, Forlan, Ferdinand, Ronaldo, Saha, Rooney, Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson, Nani, Berbatov, Valencia, Young, De Gea, Jones, Van Persie and Kagawa.

Not to mention ones below 10 million like Smith, Vidic, Evra, Powell, Bebe, Hernandez etc etc and it's a bit ridiculous how they can accuse others of buying the league....or when Ferguson blames City/Chelsea for inflated transfer prices not long after buying Berbatov.

And don't get me started on their "fans"....and their manager is a complete and utter *.

Can't stand them, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and especially Spurs.

 

Or because their fans and Manager are bellends?

 

People hate Manure because of * like Wrigley in this very thread.

 

So many of their fans are complete knobjockeys.

Innocent people dying is a travesty regardless of what football team they support....I get sad reading/hearing about the Ibrox disasters and that's * R*ngers....and yet some Utd fans question Hillsborough just because of the poxy Liverpool-Utd rivalry that sometimes is the main one, sometimes it's Utd-City.

Get some * perspective man.

 

I agree. United "fans" are complete tubes. Especially the ones over here in Ireland. You kinda have to feel embarrased for them in a way

There fans aren't as bad as newcastles, chelseas. They are cocky but so are liverpools.

As for glory hunters city and chelski are, half full stadiums before the rich owners came.

 

I'd be surprised if our all our world wide fans have been to Glasgow? That happens with every big club.

 

None.. if I had to pick, would be Utd.

I remember going down south to the football a lot hillsbrough ended it for me, but the 'fans' i disliked the most were the manchester ones, total scum, also remember they sang anti Pope songs at celtic park.
