Dire dire performance against St Johnstone.

First thing is NEVER ever play Lustig and Wilson in the same team again,
It dozen't work Second thing Izzyguire has lost it, and looks afraid
to tackle anyone. If Izzyguire continues this way we should drop
him and put either Mulgrew or Ledley at left back. Wilson headers every ball to an opponents feet and is is too easily ragdolled and bullied. Lustig is too lightweight and looks brain dead in his decision making, this dude is going to be the new whipping boy of the season I am sure

Remedy. Drop Lustig and Wilson. We should never have sold Loovens, missing him big time at the back.

2 major problems with today were fullbacks, absolutely nothing going forward and let their man pass or run past them almost every time. It was the cause of both the goals. And our central midfield, again nothing creative or inventive going forward, no support for the midfield, no protection of the defence
Need Ambrose in that defense as soon as possible, even at right back, where I believe he can play if Matthews is out, but never Lustig again please.

Days like today make me Think Adam Matthews is a far more important player in our starting 11 than people give him credit.

Not really when you think about it, the rest only have celtic to possibly get beat by but in past season they would have the huns to deal with too, so possibly the league will be closer.

League Champions, in the Champions League, a whisker from winning the title in his first season after having to rip apart Mowbrays flops and start again.

Yeah those players are incompetent and Lenny should go... :smiley-laughing002:

Think you need to take off your insane tinted glasses.

Maybe they are not as lucky as Lennon to be given a huge job as his 1st job. To then be given over a year to settle into it also. Its not a knee * reaction, this has been going on for over 2 years now.

Back to the game , it just sums up the spl just now. Its just a waste of time and with no Rangers for another 3 seasons its only going to get worse. Dropping points means nothing now. League without competition is pointless.

They have been iin the game long enough, especially grandpaw broon.

What has been going on over 2 years now?

We are 5th so how is there no competition?

This team that most people on here think is full of players that are worth between £8-15m. They are nowhere near as good as everyone thinks they are. For me they lost the league the first year, got handed it last season and will be handed it again this year.

Ok we are 5th so that means there is competition?? Does that also mean then that our team is an spl mid table standard team??

Right, bit of realism here. Some of the over-reaction here is mental.

However, after the NEXT 5 SPL games, I expect Celtic to be on top of the table, because thus far the results and performances have largely been * shocking.

Things must improve, and rapidly. Let's not hide away from this simple fact. 8 points from 15 against teams with a wage bill of a minute percentage of ours is pretty awful, in truth.

I fully expect a massive kick up the * of a few people will have been dished out today. I hope it works.

Got handed F$%k all last season, the Bhoys done fantastic to come back from 15 points behind, the huns never entered administration until after we took the lead. Why support Celtic with an attitude like that towards your team?

Handed it last year are you * kidding me?

Really thought I would never hear fellow tims say that pish, only on here do I hear it though.

Maybe you need to stop being so arrogant and realise that there are some decent teams in the league and we don't have a * given right to win every game.

I bet the same people moaning right now would be the same ones moaning about the league being boring if we were crushing everybody and the title was wrapped up in February.

This forum would drive you to * drink I'm telling you.

What a lot of * *. Also very disrespectful to the players and management team that managed to claw back a 15 point deficit to actually win the league. Even if the filth hadn't went into administration and subsequently been liquidated, we would have won the title anyway.

You are right but thats more to do with the poor standard of the league we are in. We have been shocking so far this season in the league yet you are not allowed to say a bad word against Lennon on here.

i cant understand the apathetic attitude of some of you guys towards that level of performance, nevermind the result , there was no desire to win today and that is a major problem
how far must we fall behind before it becomes an issue

Playing devil's advocate (and as per post above, i'm with you.....some of the posts on here are * hilarious,) put a certain div 3 team back in the league, with their usual PPG average - then look at our 8 points from 15, but more importantly the general standard of play.

How would you feel then mate? If i'm honest with you, i'd be * * it. It's not great domestically so far, to be fair.

There are some decent teams there without doubt. But * me, there is also some * there as well. And one of our players likely gets paid the majority of their starting 11 week by week.

No point hiding behind the fact that the first 10-15% of our SPL season has been gash this far.
