Filling our stadium.

Does anyone else feel disappointed that we had a lower attendance yesterday than them v Elgin today? I know there's not much in it but it still * me off. I feel, as most probably do, that now is when Celtic need us most and we should get to as many games as we can and show everyone who the greatest fans in Scotland really are.

 

What was the numbers at each game

 

Their tickets are half the price and they're 'bein pyoor loyal' even though they died without a whimper.

45k at £30 a ticket in this recession is excellent.

 

Well the club shouldn't be pricing people out of going to the games then! The club are on a money grab and don't care if they fill the stadium or not.

 

How can you possibly know their attendance v Elgin, it's still in the first half.

There is no way they have more than we did yesterday. There are empty spaces all over their stadium.

And anyway, it's just defiance on their part and lower prices meaning people who couldn't afford to go to see the zombies now can.

It won't last with them I assure you.

 

Not bothered with the comparison, but I was disappointed with the attendance for the Aberdeen game, yesterday was better, but seems the days of season ticket waiting lists are gone, it's harsh times and people cant afford the luxury of going to the games these days when they can watch at home, be it on TV or internet.

Sign of the times if you ask me, I think attendances are down all over Britain.

Comparison wise, remember their tickets are cheap as *, probably not even getting the money anyway..

Both our CL qualifying games have been the highest attendances in Scotland thus far this season in any competition.

Our opening game V Aberdeen had been the highest attendance for a Scottish domestic game thus far this season.

Our tickets are more expensive and yet we’re still outnumbering them.

Their stadium is full, people taking photos of about 20 minutes before kick off and claiming it's empty has been done a couple of time now.


But who gives a *?.....Don't let them get to you. This is all they have to boast about. Theiir ticket are a lot cheaper too.

It is quite gutting we only got 45,000 and no doubt * will be crawling out the woodwork for Barcelona as usual.

Anyway, * Rangers, and their attendances mean * all to me.

who really gives a *? £30 for a ticket to there £12 £5 for kids...we had 45,000 i think looks like they have around 40,000 from what ive seen on facebook pics etc and people talking.....

Some people are buying into Hun myths though.

They have been exaggerating their attendances and chopping ours down.

I am watching the game, and i can assure you the only empty seats is in the fan divide. It is full. Just dont know why anyone cares?

 

Our crowd in one of the qualifiers is highest Uefa one so far this season too.

Media however would rather talk about the world breaking The Rangers though. New team, same old *.
