I understand that we just qualified for CL but every game is important! Why buy a ST if the players don't really feel up for the SPL games now that the CL is the main focus!

We only really signed one player the other two were loan deals and one of those loan deals is a third GK, why?

Yes the team is ravaged by injuries, exactly why more signings should have been brought in!

We are sitting joint top of the league with Hibs slightly ahead with GD, but I still get the feeling that these players believe they can short change the fans by trying to win the SPL while only giving 60% effort.

I seriously doubt the players weren't trying. The majority of the starting eleven today were fringe players so you would think that they would be trying even harder to impress the manager

The team is ravaged by injuries but the main problem today was central midfield, we have our 4 senior centre mids injured which is very unlikely to happen again this season so we weren't going to buy a new player to cover for a couple of weeks until Ledley, Kayal, Brown and Wanyama are all back

We haven't been great, we have been ok at best and most of those games have been absolutely pish to watch. The club isn't in turmoil but come on the football has been poor except against ICT in the first half. Everyone could see we needed to introduce some new quality players to the team to freshen it up.

We probably got the easiest entry to the CL we could have hoped for so I don't consider it a "momentous effort"! We should have and did beat both teams that are European minnows.

I am all for giving youngsters a chance but the manager needs to make sure they are ready and have them fired up! It is the lack of effort that I think is concerning even from experienced players because they think the SPL is in the bag because Sevco is in the third division and it is a shocking attitude to have. Celtic players should be giving 100% effort every game, this team don't!

The fans work hard to earn the money to pay to watch the team and should rightly be angered when players aren't giving their all. We have signed one possibly two decent players I really don't think we'll see much of the keeper.

I don't expect the team to win every game but I do expect 100% effort every game. This side lack this at times and it shows a lot in the SPL.

Was gonna post about this. Pointless booing today.

We played poor with a second string team with youngsters and drew with the joint top team. We won mid week to put us in the CL proper. We'll still walk the league by 15-20 points. All is well.

Twardzics confidence must be shot to bits after the crowd getting on his back, especially when he lost the ball in the last 5 mins.

The booing was over the top, end of. We were poor in the second half partially as we ended up with a very weak squad out. I'm frustrated with the way we lost the goals but to boo a team that has just made CL is simply ridiculous.

The booing was * ridiculous, I was disappointed yesterday yes, but would never boo the * team.

I said with 5 to go if we don't score "Wait and hear the * booing".

Once they realise we will not get everything our way as we blood the youngsters, they will get to *.

The sooner the better, don't want * crowds, but give me a smaller amount of supporters than a larger amount of the moany booing * any day.

    Exactly this!

Really how much fun would it be if we just pumped every team 5 0 from now to the new year? It would get boring quick and if we are going to drop points at least it was after a successful european night and with a young side.

Booing a young team after drawing with Hibs, especially after the success we have enjoyed this week, is ridiculous :31:

What annoys be is when people go ballistic when a player spends more than 5 seconds on the ball, give them a chance!!

Also why did Watt get shouted a booed when he blazed the ball over the bar, yet McCourt got into the box, had plenty of options to pass to but shot completly wide and nothing was said, as usual.

I'm surprised how many on here will accept any standard of * regardless of how much commitment you actually put into following the club! You guys must be Peter Lawwells wet dream! Just keep paying your money, sing and cheer even when we are pish and never say anything negative.

The type of fans he has been dumbing down for years! The fact that Celtic can't beat teams easily at home in the SPL is a joke when you consider the difference in income and resources.

The Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona and Real Madrid fans must get tired pumping most teams in their leagues, they must long for more defeats and draws, oh wait! The idea that we drop down to other sides level to make the league more competitive is just an excuse for us not to spend money.

Well I've not had much fun watching us compete this season so far! The entertainment value has been poor and we have been struggling nearly every game in the SPL. Hopefully Ambrose and Miku can bring a spark that has been missing!

It's easy to see why we haven't brought through many youngsters in the past 10-15 years, and no wonder the likes of MON and WGS were scared to play youth.

Without the pressure of the huns breathing down our necks we finally have a chance to play youth without any real worry of falling behind in the title race.

Our team today had 4 or 5 players that we would class as defo starters in our best 11 so get a grip boo boys

believe I or not I think today's game was good because the league just now is getting competitive without the huns so in some ways it is a blessing in the skys.

The booing is pathetic no matter how you argue your case. We played excellent in the first half and where unlucky not to have 4! The end result was a bit frustrating but a bit of perspective is needed , we just qualified for the champions league and will retain our championship this year.

Yeah it's only competitive because a bunch of our players can't be arsed to put a shift in! If Lennon had done his job properly and all the guys went out onto the field pumped up and ready to give 100% then we would have beaten Hibs even with youngsters in the side.

We think we are better than we are and go into these games expecting the result. I don't like seeing a Celtic side that don't work as hard as they could, maybe it's Lennon's style or tactics I don't know but I have noticed it more and more.

FFS, we were unlucky not to be 4 up at half time! Having played some good football, and created numerous excellent opportunities.

Second half I will grant you was dire, and in line with your comments above. Not the first half though mate. Think you are being plenty harsh there.

Had we finished them off in the first half (both Hooper woodwork efforts unlucky as *,) then we'd all be celebrating a magnificent week after a gubbing of the team 2nd on the SPL.

The width of the woodwork and all of a sudden it's doom and gloom.

I agree mate but the fact that this complacency is slipping into the side nearly every week is very frustrating for fans and it shouldn't be happening, it's unprofessional and below the standards that should be expected when playing for a big team like Celtic.

They should be going out determined to show the home fans a great performance but there is definitely something missing!

I've never boo'd the team but if you pay your money and are not happy then the fans who want to can. Find it a bit funny people complaining about boo'n when they sit and watch the game for free on a stream.

Booing was embarrassing. A makeshift team full of with youngsters and with 7-8 regulars out up against a Hibs team in good form draws, oh my * what a disaster. :87:

Some people need to have a good look at themselves.
