What has being at the game got to do with it?

Who was he meant to bring on for Vic?

    I'm not picky.
No one is saying it's "acceptable" but the usual over-the-top reaction after having a bad match by some so called fans is pathetic. And a bad match at such an early stage in the season as well. It's not like it was a title clinching game.

Also, what is Lennon supposed to do with the team? Regular players are out injured or had knocks but I suppose he's just to ignore those little facts and field a strong team no matter what :87:

So Lenny is showing disrespect to the fans by having to field a weakened team, yet him and the team and not being disrespected by being booed? Aye ok :56:

    3.We will win the League

4.I do not have "green tinted spec wearers"

5.People who ask a fan "were you at the match"..." are you one of these's green tinted spec wearers" well people who ask those questions to another fan,do i need to say more ?

    The booing today was pathetic

It's hardly like we had a full strength team out and got beat 3/4-0, two defensive errors gifted Hibs goals and we could have been more than 1 clear in the first half. Sure it was frustrating but there's not much you can do when you have so many injuries

I'm sure the people that booed will be back for the Champions League games, I wonder if they'll boo if we get beat by Barca

You'll always get torn faced arseholes who will boo the team every time they don't win. They're usually the same people who do nothing but sit and moan at every misplaced pass throughout the game.

It's unfortunate that people choose to behave like spoiled children but that's life. I just feel bad for the good supporters who have to sit beside beside these folk and listen to them talking utter pish instead of getting behind the team.

I love being a positive Celtic fan. I am optimistic before most games and I believe in what Lenny is trying to do with our club. There are blips along the way and you are disappointed but you deal with it through showing your support for the team in the next match we play. I have dreampt for the last 4 years about being in the CL and we are there thanks to Lenny. Through thick and thin i will support these bhoys, a 2-2 draw is disappointing but no way will I boo, there were certainly circumstances which forced Lenny's team choice and those youngsters tried there heart out.

I hate these people who are nothing but negative but use the I still love seeing Celtic win as a cop out. I'm all for realism, realism was needed in the Barnes and Mowbray days when realistically we were going nowhere, but this team is going somewhere so get behind it. I'm not blinkered and have no problem criticising our players but booing after a 2-2 draw with Hibs after playing youngsters and Lenny bringing us CL football just 3 days ago, really?

Be positive, be optimistic ups and downs are part of it all , have been for 125 years. Don't expect us to get beat, when we do moan as if you've been right all along and when we win use the old 'I still live to see Celtic win'. Criticise, by all means have your say but remember the bigger picture please, CL is our main priority this season and enjoy this wonderful club and where it is taking us, back to the big time.

if this was aimed at me , yes i was at the game. when most of the team are injured sometimes you have no choice but to play kids. irvine is someone who i had heard of as far as im aware , hes been on the bench a number of times. this normaly means that they are not far away from the 1st team. i've also never been a tinted spec man . i reckon i'm pretty fair normally.

Might just have been my perception of things, from in my section at least it seemed a lot of the booing was aimed at the hibs fans rather than the team. Admittedly I wasn't paying much attention, was more focused on getting out the ground, but it looked like the few booing were also gesticulating towards the away end. Could be wrong, just my two cents. I'd be pretty dissapointed if was aimed at the team.

Are these the same fans that sing "we don't care if we win, lose or draw" or are they the fans that declare us to be the best in the world.

Some people need to open their eyes and realise we have no divine right to beat every team we play.

Yeah, really * me off today. I dread to think what the new signings felt like when they heard those whining, moaning, booing * at the end.

I wasn't at the game today wasn't feeling well so watched it on the stream! I think that the fans have every right to boo if they like! I might not agree but I hate it when you get the usual lemming expecting everyone to just go along with everything the club does and says.

If you're a fan you have the right to disagree and voice your disappointment and frustration. It should actually make the players want to try harder IMO.

It's the pressure of being at a big club if they don't like it they should go and play for a provincial team who accept defeats and draws more readily!

I hear what you're saying but I think booing the team when..............

    • We just qualified for the Champions League 3 days before
    • We just signed 3 new players the previous day
    • The team is ravaged by injuries
    • We're still sitting top of the league
.........is absolutely * poor and there is no excuse for it. I don't like criticising fellow Tims but anyone who was booing the team at full-time yesterday wants to have a look at themself.

    Agree with this

No excuses.. they get paid good money to put on a show and try their best.. that team in the 2nd half never.

That was at home with the whole of CP behind them... that was bad

I dont think fans should boo at all tbh because they should be behind the players. Even if I did accept it im certain circumstances the fact they booed today is a * joke.

Its not as if the football had been pish for weeks and the clubs in turmoil. We may not have been at our best but we were unlucky with some chances and had plenty injuries. Everyone at the club just put in a momentous effort to get us back in the CL, we are still joint top with a game in hand and are giving youngsters spl game time which will develop them faster and just signed a few exciting players for europe. Come on to *
