    Go for it :50:

Make sure you get the Ronaldinhoesque back flick and run in it :icon_mrgreen:

Impressed with the big man tonight. Couldn't ask for a better full debut performance. So laid back it was unreal, strolled through the midfield. And I don't mean laid back in the manner of Kelvin Wilson when he arrived where it was bombscare o'clock when he gets a wee notion to * about - though credit to him for trying to sort that out - I mean he genuinely was a step ahead of the Raith midfield and it shone through.

I know it's Raith, and not a good SPL team. But I think he deserves a lot of credit anyway, it was still his first proper game. His contribution to the second goal was sheer class.

I also agree with Hammer that the Wanyama comparisons are misinformed. Wanyama's game is all about athleticism and strength, with the odd flash of skill. An enforcer. Ambrose - given we've only saw him once properly - appears to have a bit more technical skill and the brain to find space.

Difficult thing to comprehend now is that he's apparently a CB. But after playing so well in the centre of midfield, does he stay there or do we try him at the back anyway :50:?

Not seen him play in CB for us so cant see why not, if he plays as good as that in midfield and his real position is centre back a dont see why Lennon should not play him in his real position, looks really comfortable on the ball and the defence is where we are needing a commanding player like him. Kelvin Wilson looked good aswell tbh we've not really got space in midfield.

Just hope he's got that presence in the air we need when he does get a shot at CB. I mean proper bullying presence rather than just able to head the ball well :50:

Thought the big man looked extremely promising but I'd like to see him up against some more talented opposition. He was pretty untouchable but that R.R. side were pretty much broken down very early on. Love seeing someone kick a ball for the second time in the hoops and play like that. Good luck Efe :50:

    Random.

Would you play Iniesta and Xavi at centre half because we have too much quality in midfield? You play your best players in their best positions. If that means knocking a few noses out of joint then so be it.

That's not saying he won't be good in defence but on last nights showing he is 100% a midfielder.

Hats off to John Park and the scouts for sourcing Efe, they're doing an incredible job....i'm going to wait a few weeks before getting really excited, i remember thinking we had a superstar in Juarez after seeing his first few games...

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Hoping he is as good as a CB as he was in midfield yesterday, giving us both a delightful bit of variety, and some much needed confidence in central defence.

I'm trying not to get carried away because it was only Raith Rovers (no disrespect) but he just sauntered through that match. It all seemed effortless to him and he could have smoking a cigar if he wanted to.

    Really promising debut.

Still to prove himself in my opinion, will have to wait to see what he can do against better opposition.

    to early to gauge.

Missed game last night so can't comment on performance but good to hear he's settled in well and impressed early on.

Him and Forrster were out top tagets. At the time Forrster was understandable, but a 23 Nigerian playing in the Isreali league being a top targer raised a few eyebrows (especially when we sign Miku who Getafe wanted 8-10 million Euros for) on loan.

Add to that his comments that he should be able to deal with Messi and his agents that he'll be the quickest player at Celtic park and I didn't know what to think of this signing. Looked very good against Raith, but I'd like to see how he fares against Motherwell & possibly Moscow (wouldn't put him ahead of Kayal, Ledley or Wanyama if all fit based on one cup game) before I get too excited.

Hopefully we can add him to the list of great "unknown" players with Kayal, Izzy and Wanyama given a few games.
