Our plan was a couple of us out the Tuesday and back the Thursday...

Now we have 12 in our group flying from Prestwick to Faro on the Saturday and staying in Albufiera for a week...£260 for flights and 4 star all-inclusive. Think another couple of lads are joining us later in the week as well.

Also turns out that there is another couple of groups (on of 12 and one of 3) from other boards doing the same thing.

    Going to be a disaster.

We're flying Glasgow-London-Barcelona-Lisbon on the Monday for £115. Lots of hassle but quite cheap in comparison to others.

Aye. £352 for 3 of us that includes booking a bag in I think so just over £115 each.
EDIT - sorry mate that's just from London-Barcelona-Lisbon.
We haven't booked a flight from Glasgow to Gatwick yet.

Are Celtic selling tickets to this game yet. Just curious where exactly our fans will be seated? Anyone knows?

I've been to Lisbon before, but unfortunately never made the pilgrimage to the Estadio Nacional. Does anyone have any information (location, transport, tours etc) about visiting it when there for the game in November?

Bunch of us going up to see it on the Tuesday morning, it's a bit out of town I think, so a taxi between a few shouldn't cost much.

I'm flying from Glasgow to faro on the sat for a week with my m8 all inclusive staying in hotel Monica Isabel. What's your plans to get through to Lisbon you taking the train or bus?

Not sure Smithy, I done a fair bit of looking around and only bus link i seen was the Disney Land bus? Seemed to link the two airports? Otherwise its bus-metro-train.

I did find some good private hire transfer companies, 8 of us going, seen 8 seater mini bus/vans for about 120 euros, thats including your driver. Can't remember the link right now, will have another look this weekend.

I'm just going myself I've done about of looking but found nothing about it the Ryan air site just links you to a private hire firm that have quoted me 89 pounds. I'm sure there will be a few people in a similar boat to me so not to worried I'll sort it out when I get there, plenty of time between the flights

You don't need to book in advance mate, you'll pay more if you do that.

There is a good bit of time between flights, but bus from Beauvais to Paris is around an hour, then it's 5 - 10 min walk to Port Maillot metro, from there you can take the metro to Gare du Nord station, then from there it's a train to Charles de Gaulle airport.

It's been a few years since I was last in Paris, but I reckon that would take something like 2 or 3 hours depending on traffic, changes etc... So make sure you have it all planned out in advance.

I've still not decided for sure how to go between yet, but can't wait either way!!

    Buying tickets for Lisbon

My son and I have booked our flights ( Glasgow - London - Lisbon) and our Hotel for Lisbon.

    Staying from Sunday 18th - Thursday 22nd.

Thinking of just visiting the Stadium of Light on the Monday morning 19th and buying tickets at the ground then.

However, have read it may be possible to buy online in advance.

Believe from earlier posts the Coca Cola stand is where the Celtic fans will be.

The personal visit would ensure we get to pick the best tier nearest the official Celtic allocation.

Any advice on what would be the best option would be appreciated.

I want to avoid touts outside the ground on the day/night of the match itself.
