I like it, but please, any team but Arsenal, I'd hate to go out against them.

Yeah it's gonna suck. If it's any comfort to you, the English media will be a lot less arrogant than expected after the result. Also, Wanyama will reject a move to Arsenal the following summer.

Not to forget, Arsenal are humbled in the quarter-finals by Barcelona. Let's just say it gets a little messy for them.

94 mins v. Barca was agonizing. I can't bear the thought of stretching it to 180. Still so devastated.

Spartak will be rejuvenated after last night, and even if that never happened, recall the possession stats before they went down to 10 men. This is not to take anything away from a great win there by us (we stretched them and caused a deserved red), but it's a big stretch for us to expect 3 pts, will be very difficult.

Benfica away will be tough of course, but on the plus side our squad will have gained in confidence immensely after our 4th commendable performance on the road in Europe this year.

Worst case scenario 0 points. Best case 5 (d/d/w) -7 (d/w/w). Anything is plausible at this point.

Still gutted after last night we got a 1-1 draw after 90 mins though, look how close we came to getting a point in Barcelona only for them to get a lucky stud on a cross ball, Forest and the big mhan switched off right at the death, they should have shut that ball off. Bad luck though and c'mon da hoops in match 4.

We went undefeated longer in Europe than sevco did in D3:50:

And Barcelona ended our winning run. Like, FC Barcelona of 2012. One of history's greatest club sides.

Who ended their winning run? Real Madrid? Oh wait, they don't play in SFL3. Who was it?

Celtic set new record for least possession in a Champions League match.

    http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-create-new-record-for-least-1398358

Trust the Daily Record to pick up on that.

Firstly, I think it shows just how good Barcelona are - they beat their own record by recording 90% possession. Meaning we only had 10% obviously.

We can be proud of the fact they only beat us in the last minute, even with that much of the ball. It really highlights how well we defended and how organised we were.

I've done nothing but take positives from the game so far but even though it was Barcelona, when we did get the opportunity - I think we could have used the ball a bit better. Samaras going off didn't help matters though because he's so important with the ball.

Who gives a * - just shows how * Barca are when they can only win with a lucky last minute goal after dominating the whole game :icon_mrgreen::bbpd:

Positive I saw Barca's possession was 80% odd somewhere- which I'm sure is lower than what it was when they played Chelsea.

It wasn't 90%. That much I know for sure. All other places say it was in the 80s region.

Ok, the stat's are probably wrong then. It's the Daily Record after all, so I take it there's no truth in us setting a new record for the least possession. The headline just caught my eye, it was a more a thread to discuss how we played in possession - I think we could have done better.

I'm not worried or panicking though, I'm immensely proud of us and understand just how hard it is to cope playing that Barcelona side. Both with and without the ball.

They had 10 fouls against us, we had a corner, an offside, 2 bookings, 198 passes, 7 crosses, 4 shots all in 10% possesion.

    Bollocks.

Agree we could've kept ball a bit better at times- remember it dropping to somebody (can't remember who it was- Ledley maybe?) with more than enough time to pick a pass but decided to thump it up field with no benefits whatsoever. Quite frustrating.
