Arsenal en Celta de Vigo zijn het eens over de voorwaarden van een verhuur van Chu-Young Park. De aanvaller uit Zuid-Korea kwam vorige zomer over van AS Monaco, maar voldeed niet aan de wensen van Arsène Wenger. In Spanje hoopt hij wederom aan te kunnen tonen waarom hij door de Londense club in eerste instantie als aanwinst werd gezien. Park moet zelf nog wel rondkomen met Celta. (Daily Mail)

Dat laatste is namelijk nog niet geheel zeker. Park heeft namelijk ook de mogelijkheid om op huurbasis naar Schotland te verhuizen. Celtic heeft hem eveneens een aanbieding gedaan en het hangt er dus nu vanaf waar de voorkeur van de Aziaat naar uitgaat. Verschil is wel dat Celtic hem voor één seizoen wil huren, terwijl Celta de Vigo meteen voor twee opeenvolgende jaren gaat. (Daily Mirror)

It says the Daily Mirror is the source but if I search on Google I find nothing.

The text says that he had an offer from Celta de Vigo but that it's not done yet because Celtic have also made a loan offer apparantly. Difference in the bids is that Celtic's bid is a one year's and Celta's is a two year's.

Don't know if there's any truth in this.

Thats what I thought, As I said am I missing something because his record doesn't suggest he scores for fun as some seem to think??? To be honest I dont know much about him but his record doesn't scream goals at me.

 

No be scoring many wi the heid, that's for sure.

 

He is more of a second striker rather than an out and out number 9.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but, why exactly is this guy classed as amazing for some ?

 

He has had a very good career before, but in Asia he is seen as very overrated. Actually people put him on par with the likes of Ji at Sunderland. Would much prefer for us to make a move for the Korean lad at Bolton, Ki's mate.

Very highly rated and very well thought of in Korea, would sell far more jerseys too.

 

He's not french.
