Please point out to me the glorifying of slaughtering of Scot's within GSTQ and I will agree with you.

i.e. Andy Murray never sang that part ergo what is the problem?

It is an additional verse that was fabricated and used when we were fighting with the English FFS :56:

It was still a bit gut wrenching to see him sing it though he was probably asked to and complied.

    Gut wrenching? Seriously?

He is part of Team GB he is not a former dissident Republican and IRA member. Jesus Christ.

I just hate * save the queen end of story, and to see a fellow Scot sing it was a bit gut wrenching, what's so bad about feeling like that? It's the england national anthem!

I completely agree with this, I hated that he did it but I can see why he did it. The general public doesn't feel as strongly about the issue as Celtic fans do, that's for sure. And as I mentioned earlier, he has a long term English girlfriend that he lives with England, that's bound to make him feel a bit more "British" whatever that actually means.

But most importantly, he'd finally started to get a bit of decent support down there after Wimbledon, I don't blame him for not wanting the inevitable shitstorm it would have been if he hadn't sung it.

I don't have a problem with Murray singing GSTQ, I just think it's a * awful song and a terrible anthem, Celtic fan or not.

GSTQ was a 'song' used by a former group of fans supporting a dead football club to wind up Celtic fans and its Irish heritage. A mere reaction to our great club.

They are no longer, let it go :50:

I'm the same like it doesn't affect my views on him at all. I'm a Murray fan and hope he wins everything he enters but at the ceremony when he was singing GSTQ I tried to ignore it because it made me feel a bit betrayed but it's team gb so he probably felt he had to sing it.

A national anthem I despise and associate with hunnery and England and anti-Celtic so naturally it was a bit sickening seeing him sing it. Thank * he won't be doing that for at least 4 years anyway:50:

I think he was stupid to sing it......as very few other athletes sung it.All he had to do was stand still and maybe show some quiet dignity.......and he'd have got away with it.That said, he may have been doing it to show thanks to the Wimbledon crowd who have ignored his anti England comment to fully support him.Who knows?Im not a fan of * or the Queen, but i wont let it stop me supporting him.

He is a bit of a grouch, but is clearly uncomfortably shy.....so i dont think those that complain about his character are being fair......he seems as pretty down to earth as could be expected for a guy that gets so much attention from the media.I like him and am sure he would be a decent bloke to be around.

Well, the fact is that he annoyed English people with that statement and now he is trying to fix things, but now, he annoys part of his Scottish fans.
Him and Đoković are my biggest disappointments, but still, they play for themselves, they do not represent country unless when they play at the Olympics and Davis cup.

I am sure they will both be under GB flag. Before people attack me here, that is just my opinion.

Andy definitely will as there won't be an Independent Scotland by the time Rio comes along.

Rory I'm not too sure on. Whichever he picks it'll be the wrong decision for one half of the divide so it's a lose lose situation for him. If I was him I'd probably just abstain from playing lol.

Well, in this shiity Balkan, everything could be possible.
Still, I do not know about that, but 1000 euros per month is not strange. I think it is probably cheaper than in richer countries. After all, tennis is sport for the rich.
    Serbia most loved son-:56::56:

Who has that title? He has to at least be your most famous sportsman? Or would you class footballers such as Vidic as better known?

Not trying to cause an argument or anything by the way that's just a genuine question.

He's never going to please everyone, I'd say the majority of tennis fans in the UK want Andy Murray to do well. If there are those that do not support him, then fair enough as that is their choice. Same goes for Djokovic, Federer, Nadal and so on. :50:

Serbs are nation that forgets quickly. Why should Đoković, who plays for his money be the most love Serbian son and play awful any time he plays for the country, have that title?
So many great basketball players like Aleksandar Đorđević, Dejan Bodiroga, Divac and so on who were world champions 2 times in a row ( and beat USA in 2002 WC) or waterpolo players who always give their best for their nation and won 16 medals in last 17 competitions and played for the COUNTRY, not for their own.
Many people won't agree with me, but the fact is that Đoković never gives his best for the country-he lost 2 times when he play against Delpo-Olympic Games and Davis cup. Oh, what a coincidence?! He usually beats him easily.
He is a first class sponger and I posted arguments for that earlier in some of my posts.
