5 defenders is a total non-starter for us.

Only actual defenders would be Lustig and Rogne, as the rest would be pushing up.

Ideally, I wouldn't want to play Lustig at all, but since our options are either him or Wilson, I'll go with the Swede.

No, it's Lustig, Wilson, Forrest, Watt, McCourt, Twardzik or even Murphy!

    I'm kidding.. no Murphy :icon_mrgreen:

No matter if we're playing at home or not, we're defending a lead against a team that really should've gave us an *-whooping last time. So, I think the correct approach would be caution. At least, at first.

Then unleash Forrest and Watt. But hey, we'll see. Lennon does usually prefer 2 strikers.

I'd rather play John Clark at centre back than Mikael Lustig!

    2-0 or 2-1 Celtic.

4-5-1 is a safe formation. It's worked so far and if things don't go well it's easy to change the system. Players will come in fresh from being rested at the weekend and Helsingborgs got the runaround, so they should be a bit tired in the second half.

Having Sammy fresh should be good for us. Wanyama makes a massive difference too.

Watt can come on as sub.

No point taking any risks unless we really have to. Lustig or Wilson's a tricky one, Lustig likes to play the same side as Rogne. Wilson's used to playing left of center. But then Lustig's the better player. Bit of a decision to be made there.

I'd have Sammy playing closer to Hooper when we have the ball, this team can be carved open right through the middle of the park.

Can't wait for the game now.

What about Marcus Fraser? Reckon we should be blooding him, if we're not going to sign a new centre-half.

Not in this big a game. This game is bigger than any game we will have if we reach the CL unless we make the QF.

To be fair, he stepped up in a big game last year as we all know.

Tend to agree with you here though.

Stick you in goals.....no chance the strikers will score past those massive lugs attached to the side of your head :bbpd::bbpd::bbpd::bbpd::bbpd:

    Forster

    Matthews Rogne Mulgrew Emilio

    Forrest Brown Vic Ledley Samaras

    Hooper

Forrest & Samaras will be key if they play as the pair of them are more than capable of roasting their full backs.

I reckon we'll show this mob up to be a very ordinary bunch, and by the end of the night we'll be hearing the Champions League anthem being belted out the Parkhead PA system. We'll be back where we belong.
