    Love JC. Loved him as a player and I'm glad to say I thought at the time he was appointed assistant that this might work out.

    Always good for a foreign manager to have a man with experience of the Scottish game beside him, and bonus for Ronny, JC also had continental experience and shared his vision of proper diet and fitness.

    As much as I'd like Collins to get involved, I don't think there's been anything said about McCall leaving Scotland, has there? His job there is effectively part-time anyway.

    Opinions as a coach ? For me he shouldn't be in the job he is in it should have been Ronnys own choice and I view him the same as Ronny just happy to be here wont get a bigger job. For some reason I find him very hard to like and he always puts me in mind of this ...

    He probably is a pain in the * to work under. One of those people who would scrutinise everything and constantly be going on about bettering yourself and training harder and working harder on and off the park etc etc

    I bet players like Stokes, Commons and Mulgrew don't like him as they to me are lazy types who dont really have any interest in bettering themselves.

    He should never have been our assistant manager in the first place. He wasn't Ronny's guy, he was the board's guy. I will never support the idea of the board hand picking our manager's right hand man for him, it's wrong. If you respect a man enough to hand him the position of Celtic manager then you should respect him enough to let him choose his own number two.
