    Butch was great :smiley-laughing002:

Used to love seeing one of his long, mad posts. Could spend up to 15 minutes trying to decipher his post. You'd then feel slightly disappointed when you'd worked out he was twisting something trivial into a Broony bash.

Nah I agree that is definitely the case. A high tempo, pressing stye is something I look forward to see us playing more often.

Plenty of sides beginning to implement it to good effect.

Can't remember if we did or not mate, tried to block that game from my memory. However we haven't really been used to it so I'm sure if Deila can implement it into every game we play then we will get the hang of it in no time.

Yeah, we did. But we got our arses spanked because we gifted them two goals and they created a real quality second goal on the break, not because we tried to press IMO.

Yeah seems a really good coach from the couple of videos I've seen. Very determined and dedicated.

That's really interesting, lots of high energy play and determination to win it back quickly and be offensive.

Really looking forward to this season,

I remember that game for Ambrose having a mare that's purely it.

I can remember being late into the stadium, hearing the noise and roar of the crowd as YNWA comes to an end, "Ceeeeltiiiic, Ceeeeeeltiiiiic"...I sit down, ready to see another Barca-esque upset...yes bhoys, I believe, lets do this....

    Goal Juventus, Matri.

I had literally just sat down and at that moment that tie was basically over:smiley-laughing002:

Big difference between high tempo and pressing.
Barca for instance play high pressing game but play at a slow tempo when they have the ball.

We will also no doubt be practising standing off and counter attacking quickly.

I think we tried the latter against Juventus as it worked so well v Barca.

That's a great interview. Can't help but like John Collins, really genuine and focused professional.

He doesn't hide his contempt for direct football. Wants us to play with the ball on the ground and sounded like that was heavily influenced by his time in France (Where they trained 7 days a week - * that). With his ambition and drive for constant improvement I can't help but feel excited at the prospect of Collins being involved at Celtic.

It's superb that as Director at Livingston he was still taking coaching sessions on a rotational basis to coach various age groups and build a structure at the club :50:

Type of guy who likes to go beyond the call of duty.

He just genuinely looks like he loves being here. Really impressed by him too and if he gets his ideas across, it will definately be total football.

Patience and time is the key here for RD, JC and JK and hope their given it from the fans.
Roll on the new season !!:celt_2::celt_2:

If it was a one off then yes but similar happend v ac milan last year

As I have said before I like we try and play football I enjoyed it more that we did that the previous European run but in that case we played as the better team never sat back and got shagged again so it wasn't just once

If we sat back and took chances like previous year I think we would have achieved last 16 again

Love that comment by JC. "Quick tempo but importantly when we lose the ball, quick reaction to win it back"
Seen to many players laying on their arses waiting for fouls etc. Love the new motives so far and really like what im hearing.
