Cannot wait for the return leg, Forrest and Sammy in the wide positions on a big park would be a big bonus for us. A note of caution though is they looked strong on the counter; however they will need to play as advanced as they did in the last 15 mins last night. This gave us a few good opportunities which is encouraging.

I feel quite confident about the home game, doubt they'll get 3 goals but then again if it wasn't for Forsters brilliance last night it could've been a different scoreline..

Agree with this, undoubtedly played a part as in the first half he seemed almost lethargic and that is definetly not him when fully fit, although he was certainly not the only one who looked tired and off the pace. Came on to a game like the rest of the team the longer the second half went on when everybody seemed to grow in confidence.

We really shouldn't be allowing Helsinborg to dominate the play in the way they did at times yesterday.

I'd have the same keeper and defence with Brown and Kayal slightly holding in the middle, Forrest and Sammy out wide either side of Commons in the creative midfield position with Hooper up front for the second leg.

As for Forrest he did a superb job in driving the team in the second half along with Sammy, in giving them confidence and an injection of energy and pace which was much needed. Most of the time our his team mates were slow at getting up the park so he was forced to do a lot on his own. Sammy did a similar job for most of the game.

Brown, Ledley and Kayal were all reasonably poor in my opinion.

Is Wanyama still banned for the 2nd Leg?

According to a Helsingborg forum something happened between Helsingborg fans and Celtic fans yesterday after the game. This just shows what scum Helsingborg fans can be, trying to provoke your fans by waving the Union Jack and what not. They seem to have alot of things in common with the Rangers. Hopefully your boys got home relatively safe though.

Don't know how much truth there is to this, could just be a rumour. But Helsingborg fans say they beat up some away supporters.

"Away supporters shouldn't feel welcome here, and I don't expect to be welcomed when we're away either. Hopefully the scots got to go home with a black eye or two. Well done by our boys!"

I was there. We had a great time and we had no problem with the Helsingborg fans. But I heard that there where some problems. I talked to some guys who had walked in to O'Learys where Helsingborg supporters (not the best idea) had their pre drinking, and they had to walk away from there because the atmosphere became kind of hostile. We had a few helsingborg supporters in our pub and they where treated with respect and drinking with some of us.
Unfortunately some people have problems in treating people with respect.

Missed the first half but Commons goal was fantastic. I thought Forster, Sammy and Forrest were excellent.
Was Kayal injured during the game?
