I know now is not the right time for rationale analysis but the whole team from Manager down to the players on the pitch look like rabbits in headlights. Worse performance I've seen in the first half for a long time.
Hopefully Lenny can turn it round at half time.

 

Thought this would happen myself. Scored within the first two minutes and I thought "Yes that's it surely we'll push on now and get another couple", but it's been the exact opposite.

Delighted with result so far. Usually it's us that's 1down early on and chasing the game. Retain a bit of possession in the second half would help see out the result. If its still 1nil after 65-70 minutes bring on forest(hooper off) for quick counter attacks. Sammy up top.

 

Tonight proves what every body has been saying for * ages . Defence we need a strong centre back and we need a targetman Hooper trying hard but this is not his game .

We are winning but this is painful to watch, what are defenders playing at? and Hooper has failed to stick a challenge in, ball in the air, Hooper closer to it than the Helsinborg defender and he doesn't even leap for it, possession lost just like that, little things like that are building up rapidly in this match, we'll be lucky to scrape a draw if we don't get it sorted at half time.

Focusing on the positive, we looked great to start off the game. It's a shame we didn't keep our composure. The high line would've worked great if we didn't have bone-heads at the back. Hopefully in future games, we'll be able to go back to playing that way.

As it is, I'd take off Hooper and put Lustig in central defence. Play:

the defence is a shambles it's like NONE of them can see 2 seconds ahead of them and clear the danger......In Years past we USUALLY got punished but i will take a 1-0 lead....lets hope Lennon has tore into the defence and told them to get the finger out.
