Would get matthews off straight away, i actually thought commons was playing right back for a while

 

rogne and forster have been great so far, commons too, hooper needs to wake up along with most of our defence

 

Could have done with 2 strikers to hit them on the break. Hooper is way to isolated but were winning so all is good!

 

The entire back 4 are having a poor poor game, can't believe we haven't conceded!

 

If we get through, Fraser Forster has repaid his transfer fee multiple times.

 

Oh well, we got to half time and Im sure we all would have taken 1 0 at half time before the match.

We really just need to calm down and start getting the basics right. Cut out the stupid mistakes and dithering on the ball and just play keep ball for a while. They really arent all that great (lucky for us) and I dont actually think their defence is all that tight either. We really just need to compose ourselves.

Hopefully Lennon will get their heads sorted at half time. We cannot afford to start slowly again in the second half as we have done so often this season.

 

Can't complain too much tbh. Not a brilliant performance, but we've looked fairly comfortable, though I think I'd be thinking very differently if we hadn't got the goal. But that's all that matters for me at the moment, we got the away goal, we have the lead, and we're looking good for the CL group stages.

He ran it out once. I think he's retained the ball pretty well.

 

We were pish that half, need to step up here. Great result!

 

Kris has been working his socks off. Good stuff from him atm.

 

Not the best of halves to say the least, but we're up so can't complain too much.

 

Hope lennon goes mental at them at halftime there a * bombscare!

 

We've been utterly hopeless at defending basic * diagonal runs from the outside-in. It's embarrassing. Luckily Helsingborgs don't really have many talented players.

Here's hoping it's a different team that comes out the tunnel for second half. Every time they get the ball they have a shot, every time we have it we give it to them. Forster pass marks - no-one else at the moment unfortunately

 

Started great, got the goal then seemed to forget how to play football.

If the subsequent 43 minutes after the goal taught us anything it's that we can't defend. By that I mean we can't set up to defend.

Sammy and Commons ended up far too deep and our players started getting in each others way.

We should just play our normal game and forget what Helsingborgs are doing.

Would still take 1-1 on that first half showing but I'm predicting 2-0
