Watt to come on as sub for a tired Hooper.

I think there will be around 50-100 Celtic supporters from Sweden at the game at least.

After today i would start with

    forster

    matthrews rogne mulgrew izzy

brown (if fit) kayal ki ledley sammy

    watt

really like watt direct play and running at players and shooting on sight. Abit like forrest.
I would drop commons after today showing and use him for final 30 mins when they be more space and players be getting tired. they just close him down so he cant shot . Like helsinki games.

I'd give Watt a start. He's hungry, fearless and can score goals.

His all-round game suits playing up-front on his own too.

    Unfortunately Lenny won't start him.

Just FFS let's not play a freakin 3-5-2 like we did today.

I mean who the * plays 3-5-2 nowadays?

A squad that has CB as the weakest position, & we're playing three CBs. Lenny needs to wise up...

We never played 3-5-2 either we played 3-6-1. We only played it too as we had players missing.

Not sure who I'd go with up front - Samaras isn't a striker, not convinced on Hooper as a lone striker, Stokes has done well up there himself but is injured/off form... Would have liked to see more of Watt in pre season as he looks a real talent.

Would probably go with Samaras but only if both Forrest and Commons are supporting him.

We had both Watt and Keatings available. That Neil decided against using them, even in desperation, would make me doubt we'll see them much this season. Tony has more of a chance, of course, due to his impact at the tail of last season, but it'll be difficult.

Certainly won't be starting this one, unless something happens to Samaras and the other guys don't recover.

Still fuming Big Vic will miss this game. Horrible refereeing.

We need him every match, but especially for a Euro away tie as crucial as this.

Just need the team to be disciplined, not make any costly blunders, and all things being equal, we should come out on top over 2 legs. Not taking ANYTHING for granted, and this group of players/coaching staff have been burned too many times to make that mistake either.

My main concern is Helsingborg can score goals, as they showed notching 6 in the 3rd Round. We are having MAJOR PROBLEMS finding the net, Helsinki tie being the outlier. Their offensive firepower has been mitigated a bit by losing their best striker, who I think scored 2 of the aforementioned 6 goals, and was also credited with 3 assists.

This team for me, Lennon would probably have commons out on the right tho to pack the midfiled a little more. With the pace of Samaras and the fact commons always supports the front man this would probably be our best team to get a result. Anything other than a defeat would give us a fantastic chance of qualifying.
