Scored a great goal. I'm glad that penalty was irrelevant...

Soured the mood a little between some of the players at the end, did he forget it was Guidetti that set him up for his goal? If Guidetti wanted the penalty then just give him the * penalty and don't fight over it like a spoiled fud. Can't take to him at all tbh.

Anyone remember these quotes from him a couple of years ago?

The 22-year-old said: “I keep telling the gaffer that I’ve never missed a penalty. That’s only the second one I’ve taken for the first team and I’m happy to take them.”

Since those quotes he's took two for us against Galataseray in the turkish cup and Dundee Utd in the league cup final. Both missed.

Comes across as a proper little *. The way he grabbed the ball and told everyone to let him take it just looked extremely childish. Guidetti is our number 1 penalty taker and he should have taken it.

what ? scoring the second killer goal in the 84 minute against 10 men....to me that was the winning goal...the penalty woulda been sweeter....UTD where never in this game at all...the red card total finished any hope they had

Pleased for Forrest that he got a goal as that will boost his confidence no end.

The penalty miss or save is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, and that Dundee United goalie is a bit of a stopper alright.

Agree plus he isn't a very good footballer, take away his pace and I struggle to think of any other strength in his game

Commons is our no 1 pen taker. Then, if he's not on/ it's Griffiths/Guidetti. They usually never play together so either one of them.

Guidetti should have taken the pen.

Are you sure? I thought it was Guidetti. Can't remember him ever not taking a penalty when he's been on the pitch and he hasn't missed one yet.

Yeah it's defos Commons. 100%. Maybe because when Guidetti scored a few pens nearer the start of the season Commons was in and out of the team.

And lol I don't know about that. I do remember him scoring one last season but Griffiths took it against Utd (and missed) when Bitton was on the park last weekend.

Bitton? Naw. Guidetti over him any day to take pens.

Good to see him play well when he came on and get his goal. On a side note I think he should have handed the pen over to Guidetti. No need to be a petulant wee * about it. Makes it even worse that he missed.

Yeah but now that Griffiths missed that second choice pen taker has went to Bitton I've heard.

Why would you want a Celtic player to miss a penalty FFS ?
