James Forrest

Have we been watching the same James Forrest? He has one of the worst first touches in the team.

 

Ok..

 

The guy's clueless, he rates poor players as being decent.

I feel for the guy, he's trying his best to be positive about out team but the fact is half our squad is clogged up with poor players and he refuses to believe it.

Yes, i think it is..

He takes it in excellently, especially when in full flow..

 

people tend to forget how good james is just because he's been out injured for a while

 

We don't need Stokes? :smiley-laughing002: he did a lot of good stuff last season who could forget his footwork for the Forrest goal against Karagundy


Scott Brown was brilliant last season we played much better football with him in the team

Ronny isn't going to come in and play 11 youngsters ffs you need the experience in any league

I'm not one for slagging(constantly) players who give everything for the jersey and have provided and won much..

 

I'm in no way denying that James Forrest is a good player, I'm a big fan of him. But a good first touch, never mind great, is one thing he does not have.

 

The irony is very strong here, in fact I can't catch my breath

Right so aye back on topic. It's his adaptability that's important. I don't think you'll find a player that can hold the ball in front of the strikers and play the tippy tappy style better. Sure he plays right, maybe even better on the left, so their's a number of very useful attributes he can bring to the pitch.

He's had an injury that's not so easy to fix. That's something hopefully the sport scientist boys can help eradicate. Then hopefully he'll be like a new player.

 

Even when he plays he gets shown up, gets doubled up on, loses the ball and falls on his * with his arms raised not tracking back. And repeat, the same every time.

Watt and Griffiths are better than Stokes, so at the most he'll be on the bench. Brown couldn't even motivate the team on the park to beat Morton, poor captain and the most over rated player in out history I can think of. If you looked at my team you would see it wasn't full of youngsters so you're talking bull.

I admire your positivity, the green specs just don't come off. You accept mediocricy, fair enough. You accept the majority of players who played last season and couldn't win a domestic cup, made hard work of Elfsborg and Karagandy and put in our poorest group performance in CL history. Does all that not tell you something about the majority of those players middle to front, that they're the problem perhaps? If not there's nothing more that can be said to you to convince you otherwise.

I don't however and want to see change.

 

Yeah Tony Watt is better then Stokes that's why Lennon sent him out on loan last season

 

If they want to give it out first I will give it back in return, that's only natural you would think.

 

Attitude, not ability.

 

If he was better then Stokes like you say what does Attitude have to do with it? Lennon clearly didn't rate him that's why he loaned him out he never kicked on after the Barcelona goal

 

Most of that team beat the best side on the planet, qualified for the last 16 and won a double the season before ya numpty..

 

That's all in the past and funnily enough a certain individual cough cough Brown wasn't involved in that game, neither was Stokes or Forrest as well come to think of it.

If you think that Watt was loaned because he wasn't rated then you don't have a clue about what's going on at the club.
