Just thought id put this out there.

What does everyone think about selling Ki and Wanyama for say 17-20 million to fund our badly needed 2 Centre Backs and either another striker or Playmaker just off Hooper?

Id also still get rid of Wilson, Murphy, Thompson and maybe Bangura too

I'd go for that - but think realistically it would be a price of around probably £12-13m we might get.

12-13 million for Ki and Wanyama? Wanyama is worth at least that by himself!

Maybe in your head, but there is no chance anyone will pay that for him imo.

I'd definitely sell Ki and theoretically, I wouldn't have a problem with selling Wanyama, however I think he's arguably our best CM and would rather sell one of the others to free up space in that area.

Maybe ki at a push but definately not vic !! There at least 8 we should get rid of asap (if anyone would take them) and that way we would free up funds for hopefully a quality cb and striker !! No way do we need such a large squad to win this micky mouse league imo

With the teams that are rumoured to be in for him, we could be looking at more to be honest. Especially if we apply a Rod Petrie attitude when wedeal with them.

Don't think we need 2 centre halves or a playmaker and I don't think we need to sell Wanyama either.

A centre half and a different option up front, both of which could be facilitated by the sale of our 5th choice (at best) centre mid - Ki.

This - although I confess my belief that Murphy would need to go to free up wages to get that QUALITY up front option we need.

That's exactly what I'd look for us to do.

Wanyama is plenty cover at CB if needed, I'd take one more CB and like Hammer said, a different option up front.

Well for me its significant none of our ONLY 2 first team centre backs were in the starting line up and one wasnt even on the bench.

Mulgrew is good at CB but is natural leftback Wanyama is good cover but shouldnt be 1st choice, Rogne is good but needs someone beside him with quality and experience, Wilson should be punted.

Still need 2 CB for me.

up front Bangura not had chance but not done enough when he has had one, Stokes i think flatters to deceive good in SPL not in big games, Hooper is class act and Murphy well he should go. need a either someone in mould of lubo or sutton but obviously hard to find and expensive.

Maybe someone early 30s would be good up front and at back with another youngish defender too.

Mulgrew is by far our best centre back, by far.

I think we should sell Ki, hopefully if the results go through next week whoever we bring in will help us into the Champions League proper and then we can spend the money we get from there. Without needing to sell Vic :50:

I'd sell Ki and get rid of Murphy, Wilson and Bangura (fee doesn't matter) to free up wages. We only need one decent centre half at the minute, in my opinion, with Lustig and Wanyama able to provide cover for Rogne, Mulgrew and a new centre half. We desperately need someone who can score with their head, not even necessarily a target man. Showed up last night against Helsinki, plenty of good wing play but no-one in the middle to meet the ball. A trequartista type player would be useful as well. Apart from that I think the squad's looking pretty good after shifting all the deadwood earlier in the summer.

I would just sell Ki, keep big victor for at least another year.

Think we only need one Centre back also a decent Striker and i will be happy, funded by the sail of Ki. :50:

think yesterday showed we need another striker upfront, as much as i like him samaras is not a goal scorer hes a skilled winger playmaker!
a defender if we want europe is needed, if were getting put out we can bring through markus fraser curtis jones or jackson irvine (if there good enough)

This. I like Ki but I don't think the deep-lying playmaker suits our style. Move him on and reinvest the dough.

I think we only need one new CB. Ki is the obvious midfield option to sell, but only if the price is right. The boy can still hit an awesome 30 yard screamer.

Lennon needs to start playing a 5 man midfield in Europe and IMO, Ki should be in the middle of that as a deep-lying playmaker.
