That is literally the only mistake I remember him doing, and even then he got away with it. His workrate and passing were overall very good.

:icon_mrgreen:Really happy our fans who support us away from home in Europe year after year, have got something to celebrate tonight, the beers will b tasting slightly better I suspect. Great result tonight. Hopefully a few more to follow on our travels in europe this year.

I voted Commons but Commons, Mulgrew and Forster were all very good.

I thought Matthews could have been more switched on to that dummy.

Broony let it go through his legs and immediately moved into space, Matthews wasn't ready for it though.

I would give Brown an 8

As James said, agree to disagree mate :50: From what I can remember his passing was quite poor on top of those 2 mistakes. (missing the sitter and the dummy)

when Wanyama went off I felt sure something terrible would happen as it seemed we were jinxed in Europe what with all the doomsday press reports . Thought the ref was desperate for us to lose for some reason but thank * I was wrong . I tend to hope fro the best with celtic but prepare for the worst. Now weve broken the run of bad luck away in Europe I feel slightly optomistic:icon_mrgreen:

tbh after a decent start I thought that Commons was no better than average tonight, not quite as involved tonight though we can forgive him the odd quiet game!

Good away win and I thought Forster was very good in goal, he made some important stops.Team is looking stronger than last year I think, and we should fear no one in the next round.

on that surface, the ball was always going to pull up way short of matthews

i do think brown had a good game, although if his left leg wasnt just for standing on hen we'd have been up by 2 or 3 by half time

The ball into Hooper, and the pass across the park to Sammy were magic though.

Unfair. I've been a Brown basher in the past but there is no doubt he played well tonight. Was a great ball carrier from defence and offered a threat going forward.

Celtic have won more European games this season, than the Ancestors of Sevco won in their last 25 European games :56:

In the end a comfortable win but a couple of very hairy moments early in the 2nd half before we scored. Wanyama got himself sent off for a stupid foul. The first booking may have been a bit harsh as the Finns seem to get away with fouls like that all night by the poor Austrian referee. But having been booked he should have used his head. In both legs he has been a liability to the side.
