    I'm not feeling all that optimistic about this match. HJK Helsinki are 11/4 to go through to the next round, that's incredibly generous given our European away record.

    Celtic will find it hard on the plastic in Helsinki, aparently they water the thing before every match, so if the bhoys are training on it the night it will be dry and not what it will be like tomorrow.

    i really hope we are not slipping and sliding all over the pitch... and i really hope we get out of this with no injuries and a result.... its insane that they play on astroturf... is it like that at every park in finland?!

    read yesterday the manager saying that they upgraded the pitch about a year ago, so shouldn't be that solid way you used to get. But even still, it's not the best standard. maybe not even 2nd best which could be problematic but not mission impossible.
    Take our chances and we're through. Even hope for an early goal, ease the pressure.

    I'd love to feel optimistic about our chances but our away record just doesn't leave much room for optimism. Memories of Utrecht and Sion are still quite fresh in the memory.
