I know many will slate me for this but in my opinion, we aren't secure enough with only two centre backs, I think we should go for what we did towards the end of last season with the three CBs (Wnyama, Rogne and Mulgrew) with Matthews and Izzy as wing backs, three in the middle that will dominate the midfield (Ledley, Brown and Kayal) and Hooper and Sammy up front. Either that, or same idea as last night but I would replace Wanyama with Rogne, simply because Wanyama is too casual for a CB whereas I prefer no-nonsense Rogne, and get Captain Clown to * and bring in Kayal, who has a bit of composure about him as opposed to Brown who seems to get praise for running about like a headless chicken and give the armband to Mulgrew who, I think, was the only one that was looking like he wanted that extra goal to give us the cushion we needed. We've made it tough for ourselves, but we can only blame ourselves by trying to walk it into the net until we realise we aren't good enough for that and they quite happily counter attack, past our shaky defence and get an away goal which could be what puts us out next week.

I enjoyed the game last night, thought with a bit more luck and match practice we could have put at least another two by Helsinki. Disappointed by the soft goal conceded but we now know we have to go out and attack in Helsinki as a 1 goal lead is just not enough. I have faith and confidence that we will progress to the next stage.

Not feeling confident at all that away goal could end up being vital for them. Plus our * away record in europe cant really be ignored saying that though we did play well in udine and rennes away.Heres hoping the bhoys can do it we need champions league football back at celtic park.

    'get Captain Clown to *'

Even if you don't want Brown in the line up, you seriously think that's a fair way to criticise him? For the record, he was absolutely fine last night and nearly scored from a cracking shot with 5 minutes to go that would have made it 3-1.

Watched the highlights on Premier Sports earlier and thought it was a decent performance. We should have won by more and we should really be able to win in Finland. Matthews was impressive as was Ledley. Sammy was Sammy. Don`t really understand Rogne not playing unless he was injured. He is our best CB imo and really should be a definite starter. Wanyama gets caught out far too often in CB. James Forrest was very good taking players on but he sometimes hesitates when playing that final ball which annoys me. Looking forward to the next leg and I predict another 2-1 win for the bhoys

Sorry I didn't really mean to sound so harsh about it. I just don't think I'd like him in the formation we had last night but in the case of three centre mids, because Vic would be at the back he would have to be in the middle. And I don't really feel he's good enough to be a captain. I just haven't been a big fan of him recently. Sorry if I made it sound harsher than I meant and if you all disagree with me. And try not take that in a sarcastic way if it sounds like it

Brown was one of the best player on the park last night, for me. True captains performance.

My fear as well. We need a quick goal to take off some pressure.

Only just joined so I have not read previous 180 pages. I saw the game on Setanta Ireland. May be repeating other views. Victor Wanyama irratated me first with stupid challenge on the end line. We were very lucky not to concede a penalty.

For the HJK goal I felt if he had reacted smartly after the deflection he could have got back towards the goaline and had a decent chance of blocking the follow up shot which was from a tiight angle.

He is a forceful player but having won the ball has a tendency to dwell on it dangerously at times.

Weird choices in terms of players (VIc and CH), fitness (Brown was not fit)etc. Tactics continue to worry me.

Brown was excellent, how do you figure he wasn't fit?
