Woulda taken 2-1 before the game so am happy. Although if we conceed first again over there we are Fooked.

We played very well after conceding the goal, shame about that one, we could've used a goal or two more, but we are definitely better than them.

 

Tie is still in the balance but credit to the lads for showing character to win from a goal down.

Not too pleased with the result, but happy enough with the performance. We were fantastic after they got their goal, and deserved more. Just wish they hadn't got an away goal, we could have done with more of a cushion going back to Finland. Still, confident we can do it, they don't look any great shakes.

Hard fought as expected deserved win. Disappointed to lose the goal at home but we were by far the better side and should be confident of securing the draw or away win next week to progress.

I am happy with that. You have to take into consideration that they're halfway through their season. That was a grueling session for our bhoys.

They've grown tonight - coming back from a goal down. Intimidating atmosphere for all. The constant weight of expectancy.

I'd be confident we can qualify, still.

 

Funny to see Lustig actually looking quite smart with his short hair, Paddy still looks more homeless than ever right enough.

 

We are a poor side I'm not confident in progressing.

 

Big players tonight were Samaras, Brown and Matthews.


We're still short of a defender and Kayal's much better than Ledley.
