Not looking to the second half to be honest, as this team are obviously going to be fitter than us. Although a couple of early goals would help as our team could grow with confidence. We are alot better than this team, just need to create a few more chances.

The challange on Brown was a blatant penalty for me.

The home kit looks cracking!! We should scrap the black socks. :celt_2:

We're by far the better team, just need Hooper to wake up and we'll win by a good few goals.

Sammy and Izzy looking lively, Commons has been * he's playing like he did vs Sion not how he did vs Milan!
Hope he picks it up this half

    CMON YOU BHOYS!

We haven't really played too badly, we've been dominant in terms of possession, but every time we've lost possession it's been so cheap, and we're not pressurising the ball enough when they've got it. Need to play higher up, and we definitely need Wanyama in midfield.

I don't know why we played our warmup games with Wanyama in midfield, looking great, close on our best player, and then when the big match comes about - he gets shifted out of position into defence, and Brown gets trundled in.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hope to * Lenny can see it, and changes it at HT...

    I'm not picky.
Well that's a half to forget. Started off decent with good passing but the last 20 mins of the half was pure dire.

Hopefully Lennon will give the players a kick up the backside and pull it round.

Should have had a penalty as well for the push on Forrest.

lets not sugar coat this apart from a semi decent 1st 15m we were 2nd best for the rest of the half and probably are lucky not to be a goal or 2 down

brown is pish his technical ability, passing and intelligence isnt up to the job get him off, got to get him off if we are going to get a result tonight

rogne into centre half alongside mulgrew and wanyama into midfield

we are getting asolutley overrun and embarrased in the midfield by a finnish team ffs

Wanyama, Mulgrew and Brown look fine to me. As does Samaras. He looks way off the pace compared to everyone else.

A.) Helsinki look sharpish and dangerous enough on the counter. They're playing good balls into space.

B.) Wanyama is playing well as always, but a little bit concerned about him edging too far up the park at times.

If Murphy's law kicks in and A and B strike at the same time, we may need something special from Forster.

James Forrest's header should've def been a penalty.

Why move our best midfielder back to defense to accommodate a headless chicken in the midfield

wanyama worries me at the back. very stong and calm but sometimes his positioning is wrong and i worry about him giving away a penalty

I was thinking that. It has really disrupted our flow, and we clearly play best with Vic at DM.
