Musta admit I am pretty nervous about this game. I have confidence in the team but this really is so early in the season and no matter what way you spin it we are not really ready for a game of this importance to our season. I am just keeping my fingers crossed we can get a good result in the first leg at home and that by the time we travel to Helsinki we will have a bit of match rhythm and can get through.

    It's too late for that.

Even a decent CB who has been doing pre-season fitness should not be thrown into a CL qualifier.

Unless of course it's a Puyol or Pique type with bags of experience in CL :icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen:

There's always a flip side to these debates.

In my gut, I feel we are not ready.

Very bad feeling to have :38:

I'm pretty sure you're right in thinking that. If it affects their work then they don't have to strictly abide by it. (i think)

Think 3-0 from the first leg would be a huge result and see us through. Given that alot of European away ties these days are tricky. 2-0 would be a dodgy scoreline.

We should beat them, though they're probably the toughest team we could have been drawn against.

Really tough team selection, didn't feel like any of those players could be left out but of course it does mean Kayal and Forrest being left out, largely because they haven't played any competative football for a while. Could change to a 4-4-2 with Forrest in for Sammy and Stokes and Kayal coming in for any of those 3 midfielders. 3-0 Celtic.

will be a tough game, i would go-

    Forster

    Emilio
    Rogne
    Mulgrew
    Mathews

    Ledley
    Kayal(wanyama if kayal isnt fit)
    Brown

    Samaras
    Hooper
    Forest

That should be enough to get the win, would like to get at least a 3 goal lead though

I'm really looking forward to this. We have to at least win to stand a chance as Helsinki's home record is fantastic.

My main worry for this game is the early stages, if we start of slow and struggle to create chances then it could be a long frustrating game, however if we score early to settle the nerves we could win by 3 or 4 i think ..................... Whatever happens we better not concede an early goal through our own fault like weve done so many times in the past.
