If you start getting nervous near the end of the season you could always bail though and take your £10k or near enough that by laying off.
Edit: By the way I would never condone such a bet. Total madness.

You are better putting individual bets on almost certainties and building cash up that way. Lower risk too.

By the way, on betfair you would need someone to give you them odds. Who's going to be on the other end of that bet and take £10k on Celtic to lose the league ? No *.

No liquidity in the market, only 195 quid available to be matched with at that price.

As said above if you have enough to save that would make such a bet worthwhile, you will be able to find a comparable rate that isnt a bet of football!

see to be honest, if you stick what .. £10, £20, even £30 on it, your making buttons back ( small profit is profit none-the-less ) .. but for the whole £20k - £50k thing .. the return you make would still be buttons if youve got that money to throw around.

put it this way, if i had a spare £50k and wanted to make "free money" .. id spend it on poker and smaller bets

The risk/benefit curve would be shat on if you think betting tens of thousands on Celtic rather than 10 quid on City for the exact same return makes sense.
