    Was at Hampden today and must say I really enjoyed it, although it was strange being a neutral. Some cracking football, goals, tottie and entertainment all round.

    Atmosphere was pretty subdued for the most part to be honest, credit to the small band of Japanese fans in the Southwest Corner that made a Green Brigade-esq racket for most of the match. :50: Even more credit to some of the Japanese ladies, especially the one in front of me in the mini-dress and knee-high socks .. ooft!! :86:

    As for the games themselves, it really was an eye opener to see how well these kids, on all 4 teams, can control, pass and keep the ball so well, especially after watching the dire Scottish Cup Final just a couple of months ago.

    We really are light years behind the rest of the footballing world, there was barely a mis-placed pass to be seen today.

    Special mention to the Moroccan number 9 .. no idea what his name was, but get him signed Lenny!!
