    with the wage structure to come into force, Paddy will fall into the, what we can afford to pay players bracket, the likes of Brown would need to be off loaded, as I have no time for none productive players in any Celtic team. and the amusement value has moved on now that we have games to be played in Europe, for me arms in the air all the time, doesn't put the ball in the net.

    Butch get it into your thick head brown is going no where he's our captain and played a huge part in our title. Your constant brown bashing is getting boring now.

    do you think anyone would want to buy someone as unskilled as him. he is costing the club far to much money mate, and there are 2 guys in the team, 3 if you include Mc Court that can produce a better return as a team. we don't need Brown any more mate, we don't have any players to worry about, that would need Browns AGGRAMENTIVE APPROACH, in PADDY we have craft, BRAWN gets you nothing.

    I think paddy should move on he's tried his best and still only gets roughly 20 mins if he's lucky,was blackpool not after him for £750,000 it was reported a few days back i think.But whatever he does best of luck to him,kept his head down and got on with it

    We were struggling at the start of the season without brown as soon as he came back we went on that amazing run, he played a huge part and chipped in a few goals and took the penalties. Our record with brown playing is really good so selling him would be insane. We need brown because he's a great leader and gets stuck right in to the opponent and covers the whole of the midfield. He can pick out a killer pass now and again as well.

    that is a poor view on possibly one of our best players from last season.
    Without turning this thread into another brown bashing thread i think the fact reamains that if people dont like brown then even a goal in the champions league final from him to win it would still not turn you round.

    as for mcCourt, id let him go, for his own benefit he needs to be playing regular football.

    Agreed. I was never a great Brown lover until he got injured and we weren't doing great, then he came back and we went on a great run and always liked him since.

    just saying it as it is mate, Mc COURT is a better option for our team than BROWN PADDY does not demand a huge wage, and i am sure if you where to pay players wages from your own pocket you would arrive at the same cross roads as my self. and if BROWN was as good as the few on here thinks why is there no bids for him. that tells me he"s crap and cant be sold.

    There's a reason why Brown is the captain of Celtic and McCourt isn't.

    I like Paddy and would like him to stay - but you're gibbering about two different players with two different styles.

    Brown will be a stalwart in the midfield this season as captain.......get over it.
