    Shame this never happened years ago, could've bumped Laudrup, Gazza and Albertz off them. Actual quality players unlike the shower of * there now.

    Where did I say you CAN'T sign players from an inferior team? I'd be delighted if you can show me......

    We've built an exciting young team that has rivalled theirs, and infact, beaten theirs. Why in the name of * would we want to bring in any of their players? It's not as if they are players that would genuinely add to the quality of our team, and especially not the team that we need to make a decent go at getting to the CL proper and onwards.

    As to the title of the thread "Should we make a move for Oldco players if released" - not a * chance.

    McGregor and Davis would walk into the Celtic team.

    We shouldn't go for them though and people are naive if they think Celtic would have any hope of getting them. They are Rangers men

    I'd have Forster over McGregor every day of the week.
    Davis would walk into our team ? Our midfield is the strongest part of our team. Kayal, Ledley, Brown and Wanyama are fighting for 2 starting places. Sometimes 3. Kayal is a far betetr player than Davis as is Ledley. Wanyama is 21 years of age and has already shown signs of being an amazing talent for the future. Brown is our club captain and has had an excellent season.

    How in the name of Jesus would Steven * Davis walk into that team ? The hun fans didn't even want him in their starting 11 near the end of last season because he was so inconsistent.

    This was a stupid comment.

    Just because a team is inferior to us doesnt mean 1, 2 or 3 of their players wouldnt improve our team. As iv said before , most of our team has been signed from inferior teams so your above comment in my opinion is pretty stupid.

    Good to know you are not disagreeing with it being a stupid comment then as im sure having looked at it now you agree it was.

    Your previous question , i was talking to someone else and not yourself when i made the comment "You cant sign a player from an inferior team??". Yes you are right you didnt say that. Your comment was "so why take players from a team that has shown to be INFERIOR to us? Hardly a step up now is it". From your comment i assumed you were meaning you cant sign a player from an inferior team because it wont improve our team but if im wrong i apologise.

    Really?? You asked me to answer your other question. I did, i assumed what you were saying. If i was wrong then i apologise. I havnt admitted to "stupidly assuming" , where did i say that?.

    Personally i think i was spot on but due to yourself taking exception to my assumption iv offered my apology "if" i was wrong in that. So after i answered your question maybe you will answer mines. Do you think it was a stupid comment and if not could you please explain what your comment meant then??
