We had better * not celebrate like that for not winning * all.

They are failures, haven't won anything in 9 years or so and they go ahead and celebrate like they're the Champions of the * world for finishing fourth?

That's just the most cringeworthy thing I have ever seen in my life.

Celebrating failure.

 

We both know we'd be going crazy.

Milan are celebrating like crazy on ESPN just now because they've managed to reach the Championee League , so if it's good enough for the 7 time European Champions to celebrate it's good enough for Arsenal.

 

Honestly i was about to defend arsenal for celebrating until i seen the pictures lol, it is pretty cringeworthy but at the same time they were never title contenders either, 4th or a distant 3rd is as good as they ever couldve got with their current team.

 

No, we really wouldn't. If you think we would then you seriously underestimate Celtic fans (look at people still wanting to sack Lenny this season for only winning the league and being in a cup final and breaking the records points tally in the Champions League for a Scottish Club, aye we'd celebrate not winning my *)

They aren't celebrating as much as Arsenal; celebrations are just so over the top and cringeworthy.

Even one of they're own players commented on it.

It's just embarrassing.

Celebrating coming fourth like that * sake.

 

I don't think we'd still be like that if we joined the Premier League we wouldn't expect to win everything like a lot of us do now. Getting into the Champions League at expense of our rivals would be something to celebrate.

 

Did I see a wee tear from Sir Alex at the end of the game,great manager and always speaks well of Celtic and Big Jock that's actually the last time I seen him close to tears speaking about Jock,football will certainly be a duller place without him he's earned his time though

 

Does the EPL continue to relegate teams based on points at the end of the season ?

i'm just wondering because it is rather boring...... here in Scotland we are looking to extend the drama by having court battles not only to decide who will not be playing in the league next year but also which league they will be playing in and any future penalties. Adds * all to the football but definitely adds drama in the close season

They way they celebrated was atrocious because basically they are celebrating they're failure.

If it was a club like West Brom qualifying for the Champions League I could see why they would but Arsenal? Nah, not having that. So called big club; just totally cringey.

Milan must be cringey as well then. When you consider the money Arsenal have spent it's still a good achievement and as Jamesy pointed out they did as well as they could have expected with the current team. If they"d spent as much as City or Chelsea I'd understand where you're coming from.

 

I just fail to see what's so over the top and cringey about Arsenal celebrating today. They've just beaten their bitter rivals to the Champions League on the last day after an incredibly long season; the chances of them making top 4 looked pretty unlikely with 10 games or so to go and was still in doubt until the last kick of the ball today. It's natural to celebrate.

Even then, the celebrations were hardly over the top- few celebrations on the pitch and a bit of champagne in the dressing room after, hardly embarrassing is it? Every team does it, there was even a * pitch invasion at St Johnstone today after they made 3rd.

 

I take it you're an Arsenal fan?

I can't wrap my head around why people think it's a good thing celebrating like they'd just won the league when they came * fourth


Milan's didn't seem over the top; not as much as Arsenal anyway but I still had a wee for * sake, you're AC Milan! What the * use doing man!
