Terrible goal to lose, McArthur should have challenged him.

Last few games has certainly shown up MacArthurs defensive frailties!

And attacking frailties and football playing frailties in general lol

He single handedly lost Wigan the QPR game that they should have won.

Poor defending for the goal. Can't see Wigan staying up anyway

Think it will take a massive stroke of luck for Wigan to have any chance of staying up now.

McMannaman needs to work on his delivery, good wee player otherwise

If Wigan go down i think they would bounce back up again. With or without Martinez.

I dont. I think they would struggle to make the play offs tbh. They are *. Especially up front.

I don't know about Wigan, in the years they've been in the prem they have never pushed on and went up the table, the cup win was massive for them but they could struggle in the championship

You must not watch the Championship :smiley-laughing002:

They'd lose Kone, Maloney, McCarthy and possibly Al Habsi and McManaman. A few additions and they would have one of the strongest squads.

No Championship team is actually that good. Reading kept their team, added Pogregnynak but clearly weren't good enough for the prem despite going up automatically.

Wigan vs Cardiff at the moment, same teams, would more than often than not result in a comfortable Wigan victory imo.

I think they would challenge for automatic promotion if they signed a couple of decent players to make up for the ones they'd lose.
