    Why do Liverpool

Whyndo Liverpool fans think they are this big massive huge club who should be winning everything etc ?

They have a * stadium and team for a start. Havent won league for * knows how long and yet they are all still stuck in the 70s and 80s thinking they are world beaters.

Footballs moved on and it's time they moved on aswell and accepted that they are nothing more than a top tenn( at best ) premier league team now

    There arrogance really bugs me.

Liverpool are a massive club, even if they no longer reach the heights they used to. They may have not won the league since 1990 but still managed a few cup wins since then, including the Champions League in 2005, then reaching the final again two years later in 2007.

They are arguably the most supported club in England. Although they have won domestic and European cups they haven't won the league in 20+ years yet their fans remain. This is something I would not expect to happen at Chelsea, Man City or Man Utd.

The reality is, they are a big club and if you can find me a football fan who says their club shouldn't be aiming to win then they are not a true fan.

We ARE a big club, saying elsewise is * stupid. We've gone through hard times the last three years, but we're * huge. We have the fanbase on par with Man United, global and local.

"The club has won eighteen League titles, seven FA Cups and a record eight League Cups. Liverpool has won more European titles than any other English club, having won five European Cups, three UEFA Cups and three UEFA Super Cups."

Like us or loathe us, we're still one of the biggest teams in the world. Once we get some good players, we might start challenging for more trophies...

Liverpool are an historically big club going through a bad spell. It's very obvious.

It's not, though is it? It's less prestigious than the FA Cup, but every team in England tries to win it.

like saying the Scottish Cup is worthless.

But it did happen at Man Utd. During the 70s and 80s they were getting the highest average attendance in England most seasons. Post-war there is no contest as to who has been better supported between the two.

This kind of delusion belongs in sevconia.

Their fanbase is nowhere near United's either in the UK of worldwide. They are in deep financial *. They have a * stadium and most of the "plans" to address that have so far proven to be moonbeams and their current team are so far off the pace that the next title win is light years away.
